If I had Todd's money, there's no way I'd have ANY purple labels in my PC. I'd rather settle for a lil lower grade than to have a dreaded purple label. Just my opinion...

I have quite a few grails that I own. Incredible Hulk 180-182, Giant size X-men 1, X-men 94, edge into the spider verse #2: 2 copies at 9.8 copies, NYX 3 graded 9.8, Iron Man 55 graded signature series 4.0 signed by Jim Starlin ( super nice and very friendly).

If I had Todd McFarland money I definitely would own a bunch of the Grail books but I would make sure they were unrestored and cgc graded, it's cool to see what he has but not impressed with all his books that are all restored except for Action Comics number 1 unrestored or restored that's impressive book to have.

Well I heard Todd McFarlane paid over $3 million for that home run ball by Mark McGwire 70th Home run. Anyway just what I said early nowadays you have to have big money to buy any key books.🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

The grails in my collection are Green Lantern/Green Arrow #86, Batman #404-#407 (Year One) and my Crisis on Infinite Earths full set 😊 started collected 2 years ago and these are my favourite book for sure

Just buy one. I have one. I payed $110 tho. 9.8 most likely. If you are a collector you won’t find $110 expensive.

I actually own quite a few of my grails: TOD 10 9.4 white, IH 181 9.0 white, TMNT 1 9.0 SS, Albedo 2 9.4 white, ASM 129 9.0 white, The Crow 1 9.8 white, GI Joe ARAH 21 9.8 white. At this point I’m just looking to upgrade some of them. I’d definitely like to add an Our Army at War 83, ASM 50 and Crime Patrol 15 to my collection. Maybe one day....

My holy grail is Superman/Batman Nr.16 ( 1968) german Version , the Cover was a new Variant of Showcase #4 . The main Story O: Flash from Showcase #4 , a Jimmy Olsen Story and the first Joker Story in a german book ( only here in a translate name "Spaßvogel" ..later Ehapa used the Original Name ) . The Flash was named here " Zack" ..later Roter Blitz ( today Flash ...like all other names now in original engl. Names)

If you speak to CGC again please tell them to not send a grader to the show and to please clean up the 105 day (business days , so 5 months+) backlog. They need their graders there.

YES. IT WILL HAVE A YELLOW LABEL WITH A PURPLE STRIP AT THE TOP OF THE LABEL THAT SAYS RESTORED GRADE.

He could buy anything he wants Todd McFarlane didn’t he pay over $3 million for Mark Maguire‘s 70th home run ball. I would buy a bunch of high-grade amazing fantasy 15 you can’t lose money on Spiderman. But to be perfectly honest right now everybody should buy X-Men 1 any grade they can afford I got very very lucky because I bought an ungraded copy at the Jacob Javits and it came back a 7.0 that’s close to a $30,000 comic book right now I only paid 300 I said that before🤑🤑🤑

Amazing fantasy 15 is now out of the price range for most collectors I only paid $450 for a copy of amazing fantasy 15 ungraded from the Comics buyers guide it came back 8.0 restored no trimming. Yes I also picked up a 6.0 for $4000 not restored. X-Men 1 is the hottest book going. Yes Todd McFarlane he can buy a 9.4 amazing fantasy 15 he can buy a bunch of amazing fantasy 15 anything he wants detective 27 action 1 I would personally buy a bunch of amazing fantasy 15 and a bunch of X-Men 1

Yea but even wealthy people know when to back down from a deal even if they can afford it. The real prices of these books at the grades he has them are insanely expensive.

Yes my 8.0 amazing fantasy 15 has no trimming. I believe Metropolis Comics sold a 6.0 with trimming restored for $25,000 or I could be wrong it could have been more than that. I am just happy to have my superman 1 5.0 restored no trimming because there are only 162 total population of that book. Last February 1.0 restored superman one with extensive professional restoration sold for close to $60,000. So what would my 5.0 moderate professional restoration go for. It’s hard to put any price on any superman 1 but I bought my copy for only $12,500. I don’t work anymore I can’t afford to buy books like this anymore I am just living the good life I am a New York Yankee ticket holder🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

One of the guys that works about my LCS said a regular who loved Spawn bought from the store the #300 Silver Retailer Incentive. This guy then went to a Mcfarlane signing event, got it graded by CGC, aaaaaaaaannnnnndddd Todd refused to sign it because it "wasn't for customers". Lol

Wow I understand about Todd McFarlane he is awesome but he is one of the few people that can afford books like that. Yes people like Nicolas Cage Eric Roberts Mark Hamill gene Simmons Ryan Reynolds Leonardo DiCaprio they have the money to do stuff like that I was just a poor bartender I don’t have any money I would buy every awesome book I could of course I would also buy all star 8 The first appearance of wonder woman I would buy everything that I saw. Most people don’t have that kind of money. My friend was going to bid on Nicholas cages action one years back at the Jacob Javits comicon I pushed him away because he is a retired financial advisor he only had $100,000 I told damn you are not going to touch that of course is sold for over $2 million. Anyway I have said this before that I don’t work because of comic books but I don’t want to sell my superman 1 Batman 1 amazing fantasy 15 I have two of those. I don’t even want to sell my X-Men 1 7.0 and I don’t want to sell my tales of suspense 39 8.5 yes you cannot take it to your grave and I live alone because my last girlfriend passed away she made a lot of movies so I have to sell off at times because I have no cash flow🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

This is an awesome video I love watching you guys. Of course if I had the money I would buy a Hulk 181 9.8 . Anyway I also got lucky a few years ago I picked up a fantastic four 48 9.6 For only $3600 yes that’s about $25,000 at this time
