One should always start solids when baby turn six months old Some of reasons Formula milk/Breast milk has all the nutritions that a baby requires Baby stomach walls are not that developed to process solids yet Water should not be given before six months ( breast milk/ formula milk) has enough water Last but not the least baby start gaining more control of body ( neck control, start sitting with help or themselves)

Hii my baby girl is 4months old in her 4months check up I asked her pediatrician about solids she said when your baby can hold the neck while sitting you can start solids it’s usually happened in 4and a half months so she said you can start her solids in 5month This is what the doctor said in California But just telling you always ask your doctor first ❤️❤️

I live in US and docter gave us go ahead for solids at 4.5 months. Your baby should be able to sit on high chair properly to start solids and weight should be ok. That is what they normally check before they say yes

Actually you should start after 6 months starting from puries, semi solids and then solids But it depends on baby too, some babies are ready for solids and they will show interest in food. They won’t let you eat when they are ready

You can start solids around 4-4 and half months. It depends on your kids growth and development. My bub started at 4 months. So, I started with in season fruits purée ( like pear, apple, banana etc) which will help in digestion as well. Purée should be super smooth, no lumps, runny consistency. Also, if your Bub is drooling a lot, that means she’s getting ready for solids. Start from 1-2 tea spoons twice a day and add more as per requirement. Hope this helps
