Ryan, being a gay male myself having came out later in life it warms my heart you are able to let the world know your true inner self. You are young, and you may have heard this before, but it is so true. Life is way to short to live our lives in fear, secrecy, shame, or constant anxiety. When I came out my biggest feeling was of so much relief, it felt like the entire world had been lifted off my shoulders. Tears of happiness streamed down my face for hours. I had so many friends support me, I felt so, so good after allowing myself to be myself. Proud of your strength, bravery, and honesty. All my hopes, and wishes for a fellow gay man to have peace, have an anxiety free, and loving, happy life. Being true to yourself is a hero's journey. Life is full of challenges and the best armor is felling good about yourself. It allows you to be kind and good to others. This is a big step. Adversity is a given, self respect is not. Happy for you!
