i saw the clip you ref. yes, YT does bring old memories for me too and it also helps to understand those old feelings when you see yourself in relation to others on YT.

It hasnt bothered me this much in many years. my YT addiction & helping kids with coming out has dug up those feelings up again :( the movie short "The Closet" MUST SEE in my Favs caught me off guard. i literally had a flashback like the old man in the movie.

yeah man i hear ya. we hug & are fascinated by the same pain we see in others too. like if we stare at it long enough we'll solve OUR puzzle. truth is, mostly all u get is lil pieces here & there. those vids make the journey, not so lonely tho. I know it's hard to stay positive sometimes, esp if u have some childhood BS in ur head. peace

i hear ya. we are a somewhat common victims of the times. i thank gawd, i didnt blame myself for the abuse, like so many kids do. also didnt go thru religious condomnation. I had support of my friends mom & her family / friends. i can say i wouldnt have survived it otherwise.

i understand that it is not easy for you to talk about at ANY age if one has had a bad lifetime of experiences . i went through a lot myself with my parents. it was a nightmare for me. if my father could have gotten away with it, he would have put a bullet between my eyes. he was that enraged. his first wife committed suicide and he had four illegit kids 'after' he married my mom. he was an attorney and politician.

it's obvious, Tim, you suffered child abuse from your father. Sorry to hear that, dude.

@sleekcartim I've done it before, not hating necessarily but making fun of it (all in good fun).. which i think is bad.. in a way... well, i joke around like that even alone with my best friend who knows, but that's just cuz some people like that are genuinely funny in my opinion... still. I tend to stay away from people who really hate.. like in an angry way.. i strongly dislike that.. can't hide the anger they provoke. so I just stay away.
