I want the C&C series back so bad... Wish Red Alert 4 would be announced

I know this comment is going to get burried, but this guy absolutely nailed it as Yuri. Such a cool charecter.

I respect that game makers, they put lots of effort to do this game.

Joe Kucan (Kane) mentioned a bit about his dealings with Udo Kier in his ama (C&P) I remember wrapping up the final shots of Yuri's Revenge at 2am in the morning. And then Udo, the actor who portrayed Yuri, had another hour and a half in the makeup chair having his prosthetic pieces carefully removed. I sat with him the whole time, not wanting to bail on such a dedicated actor even though by then I had been on set for 26 hours. Udo pulled out a bottle of vodka that he had swiped from the hotel and we drank a series of toasts - to videogames, Andy Warhol (with whom he had worked back in the day), death rays and Roman Polanski (who had produced one of Udo's first movies.). He was a little put out when I refused to drink to Polanski. Udo had such a smooth, soft voice and he would always refer to me as "my director." My heart would glow a little every time he would say that - "my director." You can see Yuri any time you like: just Google "Udo Kier". He's been in every movie ever made.

The good thing is, since he is german, he voiced himself in the german dub :3 And yes this guy is creepy no matter which language he is speaking.

Westwood studios, you made a legendary game and something I'll forever remember for its fun, excellent multiplayer and just so much beauty put into a strategy game. To anyone out there who might know an old Westwood's studio worker, be sure to give them a hug from a huge fan of this game. ^_^

Cool. I can still remember most of his gameplay lines from memory all these years later. "thoughts received", "look deeply into my eyes", "of course", "predictable", etc.

Respect to westwood and all staff for one of the most entertaining game i've ever played in its time. I keep listening to RA2 OST till this day and heck i installed the game again and played it to bring the nostalgia. In short.. THANKS A MILLION!

fun fact: this is the same actor who also played one the vampire elders in "Blade" the one that gets burned by sunlight at dawn by the pancaked face main villian of the movie, but that role itself is actually a reference to one his earlier roles when he played the titular character in the 1974 Andy Warhol "Dracula" movie

Thanks I was always wishing for more of the command and conquer actors to have done a live action movie. The quality of their presentation was so good. I remember going through the games trying to see all the actors.

All of this amazing effort they went through for a game that is still played to this day, still modded to this day & most importantly still loved to this day.

My father, before he took farming as a hobby, hyperbolically played this game 24 hours a day. He used to have his own jargon. He says ‘convince the enemy’ instead of ‘mind-control’, etc. He eventually got fed up with it and now has turned to Facebook and farming for diversion.
