@@gilliusthunderhead2185it's mostly about creating lots of copies that are supposed to disappear at the end of turn and I keep them with Obeka. Also lots of low cost instant spells to protect Obeka and combo with. Plus a handful of other Obeka tricks and synergies.w

Just built this deck as well, find any hidden gems I may not have included?

How does that happen? 1st, put bounceland into play 2nd, stack etb to bounce the land 3rd, put the land in play with kodama. 4th... Bounce the land okay, but.. since you put it down with kodama's ability you can not put it down again until next turn unless you have "play extra land" cards, and even then you can only do so, so many times.

@@markomalmi7989 so with Kodama in play, for example, I use scute swarm. 1. Play your bounce land, scute swarm triggers. 2. Order your triggers right, bounce the bounce land to your hand, then scute swarm resolves. 3. When the scute token enters, Kodama triggers, and allows you to put the bounce land into play. 4. Repeat and you get infinite scute swarms, and infinite etb's

You can also get infinite treasures and food tokens with Tireless Provisioner with Kodama and any bounce land.

Tainted pact as well as leveler are viable options as well

@@xgxwills2857 there are legit "one card" combos, like playing a spellseeker with inalla in the command zone will win you the game assuming your deck is set up to follow the combo line, same with having a protean hulk die in a hulk deck

@@swampyswamperton6536 true. Though my group doesn’t usually run those cards as we aren’t really heavy on tutors either since we’re more into playing ‘bombs’ than tutors to increase the variability of games.

@@Dragon_Fyre I 100% agree, we also as a playgroup agreed to chill on the counterspells and run a bit more spot removal instead so that people can actually play their cards and not have 6-7 of their spells get countered each game.

Heliod-Ballista is substantially cheaper in terms of mana investment than Mike and Trike, so probably better. I actually run Mikaeus and Walking Ballista in my grindy Meren deck because it can be tutored off Protean Hulk and the deck already has Blood Artists and value sac outlets to capitalize on it (since unlike Trike, Ballista can't shoot your opponents before shooting itself and thus requires a free sac outlet to kill). Mike and Trike is the classic, but 12 mana is a lot more than 7 for Heliod (plus his activation) and a Ballista with one counter - plus Ballista's mana sink utility gives it something to do when you're not comboing, while Trike is both expensive and underwhelming without lots of recursion (three damage can maybe snipe a utility creature or two and that's about it, unless you add another card like Basilisk Collar).

Doesnt work does it? Rooftop storm makes them cost 0 but the cards still keep their cmc so bolos cit wouldnt cheapen it Also works till you hit two lands

Yea I double checked rooftop storm let's you pay 0 mana to cast it doesnt change the cards cmc

Inalla works well for any wizard blink.

My favorite Inalla combo is Dualcaster mage, Ghostly Flicker, and Basalt Ravager it's so fun to combo off.

@@gabrielthompson8660 it’s a hard balance between wizards and instants and sorceries, I had to take out all the mage craft wizards and wizards they have instant and society triggers. Currently I have some big X spells and wizards that reduce costs. By far my favorite card in the deck is beguiler of wills

@@lol1leven Sol Ring was first printed in the same set as Basalt Monolith, using the "add 2" language. Modern printings of both cards use the new colorless mana symbol, which was created for Oath of the Gatewatch in order to give Eldrazi cards colorless casting requirements.

If a player pays life, the payment is subtracted from his or her life total; in other words, the player loses that much life. (Players can always pay 0 life.)

i did the same in my meren deck, hes both cheaper and a creature so meren can play him from the graveyard

I use the -2 in my osgir deck all the time it's a extra pull from eternity that I may get more than 1 card from

Osgir is probably the best commander for that type of effect

Generally, Commander is played without sideboards (since as a casual format, nobody's playing best-of-3 and 99 card singleton would make a sideboard significantly less sensible). That said, in kitchen table play most Wish effects are treated as "search _your collection_ for such and such card," so you can always just bring some cards to Wish for and your opponents will probably let you unless it's a competitive pod.

Usually not, but you're always welcome to discuss it with your playgroup

If your playgroup is fine with it, sure. But unfortunately there is no wish boarding in the official rules.
