As a cybersecurity person, a QR code is just like a link you can't look at before you click it. I will avoid them wherever possible. --they were useful for online menus at restaurants during the panini, though.

Unfortunately, I can't go to this event. Could you please report back exactly what packs were used. I want to try and replicate this with some friends and want to make sure we're using the excatly the same packs they use at the event. I tried to get the list from the video, but it seems that when the guy walks into the video to fix their goof up. There's a use this set or that set, as well as 2 boulders gate packs. If you take photos of the packs, I could give you my email to send whatever you discover when you're at the event! Btw, good luck sounds like a blast!

I like this idea so much! Limited is my favorite way to play Magic. Maybe reducing number of packs, and making it 60 card brawl deck size. 😃 That way side bording might be relevant and deck building would go a little quicker. I’d probably break the color restriction rule though to allow interesting splashes 🤔 Playing sealed commander in the style of two headed giant might be amazing to try, too. Instead of adding the game ending dungeon, one could put monarch in play from the first round starting with the last player in turn order as monarch.

Commander sealed sounds like a goddamn blast. I also really love Set Booster Sealed, because the packs are often slightly themed so you can end up leaning pretty heavily into an archetype. Strixhaven is by far the best set for this that I’ve tried so far!

Me and my brothers love commander chaos drafts where we include commander legends and war of the spark type decks and then we draft 40-60 card commander decks. Planeswalker a aloud as the commanders. It’s a blast

I definitely enjoy the show a bit more casual. And honestly anybody that's old enough to play this game and enjoy watching others play. It doesn't mind a few curse words. It does help to get those cards on the card reader for the ones I'm not familiar with though and I'm sure that's the case for quite a few people

CK has limited supply. My first order was shipped with a note saying they were out of LRR buttons, but I got a button on my second order. And I'm over in Europe, so water doesn't stop these buttons from finding their way to your mailbox.

Specialize as an online Arena ability is fine. What's not fine is I now have a memory section in my brain where 20-40 cards I see in Commander games now do something different than what my memory says they should! I have even built decks with the cards thinking they play as they play on Arena, and then they don't! That's the think I dislike the most - same MTG art on a card should always be the same card in total, no matter where you play!

I really don't get the bug Wheeler has up his ass about optimal Goblin Games. Like, "I don't think that Goblin Game was optimal" seems, to me, not just like a clear joke, but a joke that he would make. It just feels like people in chat made a joke that one time, and now he's forever making the same joke except also he's mad at them.
