Honestly the command zone one just needed to be redone, winning off looping extra turns isn't entertaining and if I wanted to see that I would just go to my LGS.

@@ShimoKuma It's why I like this series they really limit the power level of decks so that we can have interesting games they aren't just sitting back waiting to combo they attack and interact.

@Jojoforpres CZ has a few problems. Number one is that they're paid shills, number two is that they mostly play brainless goodstuff decks. They're also pretty terrible at threat assessment and make ridiculous deals all the time. :/

Or you could appreciate both of these channels instead? The more content, the better. While CZ has a bit more aesthetically pleasing special effects that make the game more interesting (at least for newer people), VS have a bit more fun interactions between them and create a good mood. Both have ups and downs, so why trash them when you get the possibility of watching more content?

Yep. I've used a board wipe and a Skull Storm late in a game and won because of that.

@@serahuffman718 yes but it goes back to playgroup, if your playgroup dislikes a certain thing you may just get hated out of the game either adapt, accept or find another play group. in certain scenarios a commander or a card that is not countered or hated like exsanguinate, primal surge, phage etc. it becomes "if they do this we lose" so yes they were right to stop his win condition. while it is not fun to be hated out of your win condition ultimately any group has to which is why strong cards like mana crypt and sol ring should and do paint a target on you because play groups should always be able to deal with things in a way so that one person does not just win every game and "have all the fun" while the rest of the team regret not countering that card they should have responded to. this is a big reason cards are not banned because you can play unfair but unless you find people just as cheap or net decked up then you will probably not have a very fun table and they will eventually and very quickly in most cases have enough of your crap and just refuse to play with you

They've done this before, but seeing it again could be fun. There've been a lot of sweet commander cards printed since the last time they did it.

TBF its because he said 'at' several time, and then read it properly and said after, Justin was correct if it was an 'at' spell, and just had trouble unhearing the first 4 times it was said as 'at'

I think it’s to prevent anti-climactic endings due to cards like Earthquake, Torment of Hailfire, Exsanguinate and such, where a very interesting game could be developing and then “boom”, it’s just over.

@@YugmasterJeff The show just used to have so much personality, it was 3 friends that have known each other for a long time and you could feel it in the energy. Also Parnell was an amazing host, Jeremy just doesn’t have the same energy and flare as Justin. Honestly was always kind of hoping they would replace Jeremy, instead he’s been more and more prominent which has brought down my enjoyment of the show. But I still binge watch seasons 7 till the Covid webcam magic happened pretty frequently even though I have the games memorized at this point. In my opinion the comedy and fun they were having is good enough to re watch over and over.

I’m with Neth for sure on this one. It’s a genuinely unfun card, it’s good but it completely hoses one player. Plus think about it in the way of how Game Knights played a bunch of extra turns and it was terribly unfun to watch, so they have an easy step up by not playing it and hosing Only One player at the very least.

Neth hose one player cards are good when your killing the most powerful player and even then killing someone for 7 mana is pretty powerfully and I'll be putting it in my rakdos lord or riots Commander
