I got to the end of the video, and I suddenly had an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for the amazing content you do. I have watched every single commander video on this channel (even the older stuff with Darby), and I really can't express properly how much I have enjoyed it. @jeremy or @kyle Take and old playmat, get some glue for plastics, and cut the playmat down and glue the command zone laminate to the top of the playmat, the textured bottom of the mat will keep it from slipping around.

Progenitor Mimic on Eternal Witness, repeadetly getting back Demonic Tutor for Nexus of Fate for infinite turns seemed pretty good

Reki, the History of Kamigawa is mono-green storm. You're gonna cast many spells each turn and keep drawing cards so you can keep casting legends. This is by far my favorite deck to play and I really want you to show off this underplayed Commander. Btw Goblin Kaboomist was misread. The coin flipping is not part of the effect of detonating the land mine, it is part of the *trigger* that puts the mine there every turn; therefore Jeremy shoulda flipped to see if the Goblin would blow itself up.

When creatures are put into play tapped and attacking they attack the defending player of the creature that put them into play. This is the case because they were not able to be declared as attackers since they weren't in play until attackers were declared.

I don’t know if anyone gonna see this but at 1:45:00 When Jeremy attacks Stephen and gets deflecting palmed , couldn’t he have attacked grothama and drew a bunch of cards instead?

At 1:51:46 Jon activates Arena targeting his creature and choosing Stephen's creature, but at the card description, Jon could just choose the opponent that chooses his own creature to fight. Missplays happens...

@42:11 I think the Kessig Cagebreaker should have died here due to the ruling on the card: For example: If a creature attacks but is removed from combat before Lightmine Field’s ability resolves (because it would be destroyed and regenerates, perhaps), that creature is dealt damage by Lightmine Field but isn’t counted when determining the amount of damage. On the other hand, if a creature is put onto the battlefield attacking (due to Preeminent Captain’s ability, perhaps), it isn’t dealt damage by Lightmine Field, but it is counted when determining the amount of damage. When looking at further combat at 1:06:06, more dudes are made with said card. Doesn't matter a lot since the GY is gone here, but it's still doing its thing. Probably not too impactful since there's 12 wolves already at that earlier combat, but still good I think for us to learn that interaction? I could be wrong though, perhaps I'm misinterpreting the ruling? It was a real fun game to watch still! That coinflipping makes me a happy man.

Idea for future themes (possibly a bit late to the party but oh well): Decks that are themed around each of the infinity stones from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (also each deck has to be in a deck box and sleeves corresponding to the stone it is representing

I know I'm 2 years late but during that mirror strike turn John should've attack with all his creatures(except vigor) and fight grothama. He would've gained about 100 life, and his creatures would all have been 22/22s and grothama even bigger.

If you're playing Grothama, you need a lot of enchants, instants, and equipment that provide hexproof.

Shouldn't John have died at 1:58:19 when Steven redirected his Commander's attack? Lifelink or not, he did take 22 commander damage (from his own commander)

so justins wolf token producer should have died to the lightmine field. Since it deals damage equal to the number of attacking creatures then it would be the only one to take damage from all of the wolves attacking.

Poor Green, plays nice, saves everyone wiping board... and still tazzed for only having life and barely any board presence. Should've just killed Justin earlier befor he can rally the others against you as usual.

So here's a crappy rule for you. When Jon played a Hideaway land from the top of his library with Courser of Kruphix in play, he must reveal the top card of his library before he looks at the top four. No problem. But, if he selects the top card to go under his hideaway, he must reveal what the next card was before putting them on the bottom of his library. (This essentially will let everyone know that he selected the top card.) This is because the cards do not change their order while they are being looked at and are still considered to be in the library. And because you follow the rules on the card as they are listed, if he chose the top card, the next card would be revealed before it moves to the bottom. If he chooses one of the other three, then the top card is still considered to be on top before it moves to the bottom of the library. Like I said, crappy rule. Judge!

There are very very few cards that I ever really care about seeing folks play. But like....once Nexus was cast, the game just stopped being entertaining. And that keeps happening whenever it's played on Commander Versus, at least for me.

Commander VS! Saviors of the universe! There are far too many cards that get put in play but never get put up on the big display so I can't tell what they are. I mean I know a lot of magic cards but I don't know every picture for every card. Please start putting up a brief picture of the cards for the audience more reliably. Edit * Jeremy got all upset when he got knocked out but how dumb do you have to be to attack into an akido deck when all that mana is untapped and your life total is that low. It's not like all those cards weren't revealed at the beginning of the match...…. that's just bad magic playing there, no one to blame but yourself.
