Vidyut Jamwal started learning Kalaripayattu from 3 years of age till 13 years. He has participated in martial arts competitions across 30 countries by the age of 11 years. Then he was a gymnast at national level. Vidyut also learnt Brazilian form of martial arts popularly known as Jujitsu.

Doing stunts himself doesn't rule out the possibility of using stunt aids. Like wires, catapults, bungee chords etc etc. Though this guy is pretty good. Lots of parkor guys in the world can all these (and much more) with relative ease. Good to see him doing it so well. (with or without stunt aids)

if that scene had a wire, why will we hesitate to mention it? we already know that most of the stunts in hollywood/bolly are done with wires. but this guy Vidyut is a different breed of beast. he didnt use any wire or spring board or cables. and the entire film's promotion was based on that fact, even the teaser mentioned it. he can do all those by himself , and i repeat there were no wires! even if the great Jaby doesnt believe so deep inside -.-

Actually we Indians don't really need Judo, Karate, Taekwondo, Kung fu. We have our own ancient martial arts like Kalaripayattu, Silambam, Malla-yuddha, Gatka, Vajra-mushti, etc. Sadly, like our languages, even our martial arts have been neglected by us.

Hey Jaby! Vidyut Jamval is trained in Kalaripayattu (Indian martial art form) since he was a kid. All the stunts performed in this film are real and performed by Vidyut himself.

Salman Khan doesn't have much acting talent (Aamir Khan and SRK are both much better actors), or much action talent (Vidyut Jamwal and Tiger Shroff perform their own stunts). But what Salman has more than all of these stars is a lot more charisma. He's like the Rajinikanth of Bollywood. Neither of them have much talent (Kamal Haasan is a much better actor than Rajini), but they have charisma. That's what draws Indian audiences to them.

he's trained in Kalaripayattu (an Indian martial art considered as the Father of all martial arts in the world) from an ashram in Palakkad, Kerala since he was three years old, which was run by his mother. He has traveled the world training with martial artists in various forms, all of which find their base in Kalaripayattu. After earning a degree in martial arts, Jammwal traveled to over 25 countries, where he performed in live action shows, which was something beyond any regular showcase ever done before

He doesn't use wires. Minimal retakes. All stunts done by him. Very very minimum CGI (only for dust and blood effects). Remember this please next time.

Yes Jaby, he did have a springboard at 4:43. You can clearly see that he's jumping from at least two or three ft from the ground. Its probably been digitally erased during post production...but before people start ranting about this comment, let me just say that I'm a big fan of Vidyut Jamal and I definitely think he does his own stunts..Nuff said!

hai jaby ,the actor did all those moves real and he learned martial arts like kalaripayattu, which is the oldest martial art form in the world for more than a decade and also the martial art form he learned and trained was ancient fighting style of kerela india,kalaripayattu is a martial art which is inspiration for the origination of karate and also some other fighting forms he started training when he was 5 or 6 yrs old
