Commandos 1 Behind enemy lines and beyond the call of duty have to be the greatest games ever made. Amazing games and lots of memories from 2002-2003. My friends and I used to have a competition among ourselves on who would be able to crack the mission first; the game used to come in a CD.... a fking nostalgia of early teenage years 😢😢😢

***** The Driver can indeed force an enemy soldier to drive a vehicle as long as he is on board the vehicle as well. The vehicle will remaing undetected unless it runs over soldiers or fires its turret. It actually took me a couple of years before I realized such a feature existed. Ironically enough, I learned about it from the game's manual when I finally decided to read it.

Dear spek, I remember receiving this game as a present when I was a kid, and I read the brochure over and over (including the trick to force a prisoner to drive) although I never could finish this level. Thanks for showing me how to do it right!

@@spek-gamesThe commandos that can force enemies to drive is not just the driver. I've ever used the Sniper to force them to drive anyway.

5 minutes for this mission. This is genius. I usually work mostly with the Green Beret, but this was awesome. So quick. Awesome job man. And at the end taking a German soldier with you so you don't raise any suspicion. Again. Genius.

Working with the Green Beret, when you have the spy guy?!? Spy guy is hacks. (I always used the green beret mostly too. Spending the sniper's bullets always was fun though too!)

Same here, Im replaying after some years, and I did this mission yesterday. It took me hours to clear the whole area. Never thought many of the enemy soldiers could be locked in the ostrich cage.

Spek my friend, I always watch your videos after I complete the mission on my own and you surprise me every single time with your tactics! I learn something new each time I watch your videos and I apply some of your techniques on the next mission that I play. I therefore thank you for taking the time to post these videos and for also being such a genius playing the Commandos series!

I remember I was playing with the lions by using the Green Beret, thus I was rescuing the Partisan officer using GB. It's fun luring the enemies to the lions' cage lol

I played all the 8 missions of this game in 2003-4. I am back today only to listen the accent used to brief the mission at the start. I madly love the accent and wana to adopt it.

Cool trick with alarm in birdy cage =) I picked the way through lions territory with green beret and managed to finish mission without raising alarm

I always watch your videos after i complete mission by my own, and Im always impressed how you play it :P. It took me about 2 hours to complete this, and I left only 6 dudes alive, i had to save and load abotu XXX times though :D

Man, the graphic and game design of this game is much better than Commandos 2 even without new characters or feature. I always admire the map design, especially the architecture.

I'm wondering why you don't upload any films since 3 years. You're really good in that game. That would be great if you could try to play the other two parts: Commandos: Men of Courage and Commandos: Destination Berlin. I'd really like to see your gameplays from these games. Didn’t know captives can drive. I wonder why enemies didn’t shoot the vehicle, is it because the captive was driving? I remember even if the green beret got on and then got off a car, then if an enemy sees the car he will shoot it. Besides 5:10 using the ostrich yard to capture enemies that’s smart! The most exciting part I remember was letting the green beret run across the lions yard, without being detected. Lions ran lot faster than human. Of course you could use the spy to kill the lions first, but that would be less exciting.

I spent several days on this if not weeks when the original game came out. I did not realize that the uniform of the zoo guard was the main thing.

That is awesome, you are genius. I had to kill almost everybody before setting free that guy, I had to take advantage of all blind points for killing as much soldiers as I could. It is kind of fun to kill them all silently too.

Yogesh Rathod You could try downloading the Commandos Ultimate Fix from www.mediafire.com/download/7vmmwaaoqgoo1oy/Commandos_BEL_BCD_Ultimate_Fixes.rar. It's the one I used when recording Commandos on Windows 7 64-bit. Just extract comandos.exe and wargame.dir from the RAR file into your Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines directory. As a side note, I recently started Commandos: BEL for the first time after reinstalling Windows and the game seemed to be working fine without any third-party patches. I wonder if the Steam version has been updated to include the necessary fixes to run the game properly.
