Hi Raj, hard work is definitely the best way, if you apply and get accepted for the program it means they believe in and you must come in and show them they’re right to believe in you by working hard especially after first year

Does the score for QL for the NBT determine your placement for this degree?

A lot might have changed since I did mine so not sure, but you must get your good marks in matric and you should do well on your NBT you can prepare for them but they’re manageable

Hi, I am currently doing business studies and accounting in high school, but I really enjoy business more than accounting and math, can you choose your course in your second and third year or are you required to study specific courses each year?

Math lit might prevent you from doing this course, check other courses or email the admissions people for more information

@@unakomaholwana789 investment banker is not a qualification it is a job, your best bet is to go to linkedin search for investment bankers and ask them what did they study

Hey bro i'm currently upgrading my marks, i've already applied for something else at uct but im hoping to request to change one of my program options to this. What i want to know is, in your opinion what maths percentage do i need to get in. (I wont aim for the this mark i just want to know what mark i should aim higher than) And I currently do physics, geo, life science and maths. I also wanted to know will i stand less of a chance of getting into this degree because i did not do accounting in high school.

Hi T man, you need to read the latest handbook to know the minimum requirements and see the requirements for the course you want to study, i can't tell you that here

Hey, UCT doesn’t specify if the accounting degree is inclusive of accounting science . I’m an aspiring CA and I’m not so sure which degree I should take to become a CA

If you want to do the CA then you either do BBusSc Finance with Accounting which is 4 years or Do the Bcom Financial Accounting CA stream which is 3 years

Do you think it's worth it to study BCom honours financial management at age 28. Will it be possible to find a job after graduation at this age. Essentially the same degree as BBsci

Unfortunately it’s going to be your call to make, better to contact the university for requirements on the degree as for the job you can maybe speak to a recruiter about age limit but I haven’t seen a post where they say they want a certain age from employees

I guess it's more of a life question than an educational one. I want to get post grad. But at the same time I'm 28 years old and I REALLY want to move out of my parents home. I'm more than confident that I will be able to admission for post grad
