The PPD Northwest Detective Division is attempting to identify the individual responsible for this commercial burglary.
On May 21, 2024, at 6161 N 5th St at 2:30am an unknown black male offender broke into the St. Helena's Parish Church and burglarized it. Security cameras show the offender walking west
bound from 4th St and approach the back door of the church. The offender then proceeded to break the door and enter the church. The male later disconnected the cameras and was in the property for an unknown amount of time. Several items were reported missing, and the male fled in an unknown direction.
Suspect Description: Black male, 30-40s year old, medium build with a beard wearing a light blue shirt with a blue coat and a dark colored knit hat.
