Quick tip, should never have a line atached to anywhere on the polespear other than the band. Creates a lot of drag, so the drag from the line was pulling on your polespear from the tip which was curving your shot and slowing it down. If it's attached to the band you are pulling the line up with it, there fore when you release to shoot, there is a lot of slack in the line, which lets the polespear do its thing.

Great areas. Nice shooting as well, I just left Exuma's. Too much drag on your pole spear with the clip, etc and I'd grind the point into a slimmer entry. I'd also set up your tag line off of you band.

@@Gernfishin Had a ball, took a catamaran from Staniel Key to Georgetown, hung out in Georgetown for a few nights, dinner at Shirleys and partied at Fish Fry, GREAT TIMES! Met some people we had friends in common with while I lived on Andros Is.

Yeah it’s your shot placement why your “losing fish” first hog fish you shot high and the second grouper dropped low
