Many vendors and suppliers in the ecosystem have great intentions of helping clients with end to end requirements in Soilless Farming or Traditional Farming.
While the intentions are great and it also helps in increasing revenue generation for the business, it must not be done on the cost of hard earned money of the client.
What's observed in my journey in this industry as a seasoned consultant, I found that many vendors and suppliers are also providing agronomy support to set up an entire commercial farm under the vertical of commercial consulting.
The agronomists in India are either graduates or postgraduates with no solid experience in Soilless Farming. Mostly the owner of such companies would hand hold the client to set up the system and when nothing is working they are not reachable or easily accessible. Some of the agronomists try to do their best but with no professional competency and knowledge they end up failing to manage the farm operations.
So, what's missing? Fundamentally, the missing pieces of puzzle are skills and experience in Soilless Farming and Hydroponics. That's why I tell farm owners to get skilled before planning to start their commercial farms.
Remember, failing to plan is planning to fail.
