After the Bahamas trip was scrubbed due to motor problem with a friends boat we decided to head out and kill some Mackerel. We finished the day with a little over 600lbs of fish in the 16ft boat. All fish were caught on spoons and the rod I was using for most of the video was my 8' Crowder with my 4500 Penn Slammer III spooled with 30lb J-Braid.

Hi Joey, Great Videos! I seem to get a lot of cut offs from Spanish Mackerel using 40# leader. Just wondering how many fish you average catching for each cut off. Also what size leader do you normally use for Spanish mackerel. Thanks, Tony

It seems like it's a knock off Clarkspoon size 0 tied directly to a leader. We use a 2-3 oz online sinker with about 6 ft leader tied to a clarkspoon when Pier fishing such as skyway.

Hey you guys shouldn't be fishing with barbed hooks mash the barbed down on your hook your fish will come off easier it'll make everything easier for you you never give the face in a slackline just take the Barb off your hook and you'll have a whole lot better deal James

Commercial breakdown how much did you get for them fish how many pounds did you cash and where y'all getting per pound that's all you need to say we can figure the numbers out I'll come nobody wants to give us numbers Joey and what y'all making and you can be you know very you don't have to give us the exact price man but I just don't know why you all want to do it
