Yeah your right. I wear open toed shoes too. A z flashing would've fixed that but requires a return visit. Use what you have on your truck. And talk about a mess of a job, look at the rest of the work there. Horrible I see these jobs myself

Why wouldn't you flash that wall? I know you hate EPDM and TPO, but even a peel and stick granulated would be better than just leaving that exposed plywood.

That was an easy fix and under the soffit area. I want the maintenance guy to paint that plywood. But the repair was easy without having to go to the supply store to get Peel and Stick that would have cost over a $100.

Great job. That plywood looks terrible. They should at least paint it with an oil-based paint, before it starts to crumble..

this was a temporary repair that I had to do to ensure the cricket below is not leaking. The maintenance guy was suppose to install proper siding. Sloppy work? I have to do what I have to do, I can't be bothered with all the problems of so many other service people that fixed things on this roof and caused leaks. The gas lines to the A/C units, the duct work through the walls, electrical conduits, and on and on. I am merely showing how to patch something on wood. Not trying to show you how to replace plywood
