Thanks for the info. I like the 70% 30% but you'd have to really trust the barbers if you're not there. Sounds like the owner would have to be there all the time to be sure the cut's are tallied. Also, scheduling seems difficult, someone has to be there. Because I technically would not be their boss I can't tell them when to be there and when to go. If I did schedule them they would be my "employee". I could get hit with an unemployment fine if I need to terminate a barber for what ever reason. What are your thoughts?

When I had my shop I payed 65/35. And I gave them a W-2 at the end of the year.

@@BigAlsShoppableReviews And I had the supplies for them like next strips shaving lathering machines all the supplies they needed for sanitation...hey big al, have a question for you. So u pay them at the end of the day. Is it cash or a check?? How do you do it when u have more sales done through credit card than cash?

I pay them cash .....I usually have to have cash on hand to pay them. Because CC transactions due exceed amount to pay them . It's more work for me for sure.
