This is gold. Every single step of the commission process well explained and easy to digest. Thanks for demonstrating how a radiator should be balanced. Found it very informative. Thanks Derek 👍🏻 Asian Jon. Training.

Another great video Derek and thanks for allowing me to inform your viewers, who may not be aware, that you can also turn these readings, from the SP620 & DC710, into unique, GPS tagged reports, title them as you wish, collate them into a single Job including creating an LGSR and e-mail them all out, in one go, to multiple recipients, at no extra cost, all part of the FREE TPI View app for Android or Apple Phones or Tablets. Cheers!!

Wow brilliant lesson from a brilliant teacher 👍, I was trained in plumbing about 17 years ago at Tameside college by derek and Matt absolutely brilliant teachers I honestly finished my course knowing absolutely everything about plumbing thank you 👍, just to compare in the last 10 years I have had about 12 different” fully qualified nvq2 plumbers“ that I had work alongside me just after they qualified to show them the ropes ? (Nobody shown me the ropes when I qualified) and they are all from different colleges and that I also ended up having to retrain them myself from scratch as they had no clue in plumbing 😶😶honestly not one of them knew even the basics of stuff like what’s the difference between a bs1212 part 1 and 2 🤨 🤣🤣 . Any way really glad your still teaching derek good on you lad 👍👍, Chris

@Tomkat Gas Training Hi Derek, excellent videos as normal but whilst watching your video - have you a typo at 1:24> where you are discussing the let by results, as you were discussing the 0.04mb increase start to finish on your test output as your wording on the screen in yellow then shows 0.025 to two decimal places. All the best √

How come you need to do a gas Rate if you have done a working pressure on DHW and CH? Would it not be one or the other?
@tomkatgastraining3 жыл бұрын
On commissioning it’s both on landlords reports it’s say one or the other or both

Can you not purge the gas then do the tightness test that would make more sense to me ?
@tomkatgastraining Жыл бұрын
Why would you the idea of purging is to remove the air from the gas after a tightness test
@alanwoods40233 жыл бұрын
You can actually put the boiler in max hot water in service mode with them Aristons.

Love your videos. You got a little confused on your radiator dt's. The faster the flow through a radiator the greater the output for any given mean water temperature. Measuring dt is a dark art. The dt will change as the external temperature changes if flow is constant. If you are on face book it would be great to have you join us on the heating design forum. facebook.com/groups/1283670701667577/?ref=share
