You are genius!!! I have a query, that when the pump doesn't have recirculation and we start the full load test, what's the position of discharge isolation valve and how it affects pump ampere. Kindly clarify. If we keep the discharge valve open during start, how does the motor react?

Sir I am facing problem in commissioning a pump where previous engineer designed pump for 30 meter head while actual head is 10-15 m. Problem is that pump initially was not delivering any liquid but was working properly on opening recirculation line valve. To solve this I installed VFD but it impacted flow rate. Can you help me to solve it without reducing impeller dia or rpm. Additionally my doubt is that if on discharge line my system curve is not matching with pump curve may be resulting in no discharge from outlet. But how can it discharge on opening a recirculation line where system curve will definitely not match pump curve.
