I wish Daisy wouldn’t have brushed off the question or have answered so briefly when Sebas asked about DACA! That was a great opportunity to educate them and the audience about DACA and her upbringing prior to becoming a brand. The entire interview felt like she had to give answers to validate her accomplishments and maybe even flaunt. I hope she gets to come back and shows a different side of her the one everyone has grown to love..

I’m older than her and went to city college right after HS here in CA and you need to fill out AB540 app to pay instate tuition I remember it was $46 per unit instead of $300+ and you can apply for the dream act which is like fafsa for them to cover the rest or most of it for low income students. ( not sure if it has been the same all this time in Texas) Wish she was updated about it because I always hear her talk about how she had to Drop out because she was undocumented not sure if it was just that she wasn’t informed. When I went to seminars I found out there are people paying these ridiculous prices just for not knowing!! Edit: Dang her energy/ interest was lacking😅

Out of state tuition is no joke! BUT to all the Dreamers, do not get discouraged. There is a lot of help for students whose grades and GPA is excellent. There are lots of non profits whose job is solely to get professionals into their fields. Do not fold! Do not break! Keep going, friends!
