Grew up in the 70's and 80's. To me it's still the greatest generation of music. So much variety. So many styles of music. Great lyrics, singers who could actually sing. And it was the era of MTV so you could see them perform the songs you loved.

When I lived in Richmond, Va in 1994. I use to work as a Tape Librarian for Nationsbank and worked nights and loved sitting in my car during my 1 1/2 hour lunch and break listening to the Night Rythms on a R&B station and always seemed I would get this song to be the first one I hit while listening to the radio station.

+Oliver Hernandez In the 90's those hip hop artistes made music go down. They disrespected women and would have violent gun lyrics. The Music today was largely because of the 90's. Now if you can freestyle you get a contract and the singer with the Aretha Franklin voice misses out unless they win America Got Talent or the Voice.
