@@unutiyacam5711 If you just utilize the forts well, it's pretty easy to win defensive battles as Korea. I once had a Ming-Japan alliance declare on me, but stackwiped their armies again and again until I got up to like 70% warscore.

6:24, for reference; "Miju" means "Continent of America" or something like that in East Asia, especially in Korea and China. 'Mi' means America, as chinese government wrote 'america' like 'meilijian' in chinese character. It is 'Miligyeon' in korean. 'Ju' means 'province', 'continent' or alike depedent to context. By these, colonial government in the east coast was named Miju.

pro tip for anyone wanting to play korea: dont attack japan on the start wait for it to either form or be 2-3 nations otherwise it will be very very hard to beat them, at the start they may be 50 nations but their combined fleet is near the 100s and if you manage to destroy it somehow their combined army is near 90k (it will take too much luck and a massive debt to do it)

Wouldnt enforcing peace on the vassals work, though im not sure if thats the ideal way as korea. My korea runs just involved sitting there until innovative is finished, then taking the manchu hordes untill quality is finished, followed by taking the mandate. That strategy worked better in 1.34 though, since the ai refused to take quality as its first idea, so you got full innovativeness from this and had 100 inno before 1500

Tried that. I got my foothold, then when i went for a second war, Ming China turned on me and wiped the 22k troops I left in the homeland. I felt like 70 years of work to take Southern Manchuria and get my foothold in Japan were all wiped out and I kind of lost all heart to keep playing :(

nice, one thing you can do is grab a random island in the south pacific, move capitals there and then to somewhere in NA and then casually eat up colonial nations once they show up. And put all of East Asia into Trade Companies.

I did a full tall Korea game, without territorial expansion. I was a pretty boring campaing, but I reached 1000 development in korean peninsula by 1750, and not even Ming or Qing could stop me with defensive ideas and max level forts in every province. So it was pretty safe to play. I was by far the most advanced nation, always stayed in great power. The only thing that sucks was trade, even with trade ideas, cuz korea is way far away from a good node.

This is actually a really good and easily imitattable Korea Strategy. Wanna know how i messed this up? The Colonial Missions for the new world werent popping off despite having EXTREMLEY high colonial range. Why? i forgot to scroll down. This Delayed my entry in the new world for decades. Also went infastructure first which was probaly dumb, it didnt help much despite being Korea. Overall i was probaly about 50 years slower just because i didnt notice a scroll bar

It will be quite easy to make WC, you need to take the Mandate of Heaven to get -20% CCR, cancel the first 2 groups of ideas, build up absolutism and take over the world
