Congrats dude. I'm new to fishing and trying to learn. How did you store them as you collected them? Just put them each on liners before you called it? Put them all in a container with water as you go?

@@robgarcia6770buy a metal stringer> buy rope> cut 6 ft of rope>tie to stringer>throw in water> secure line>gut them when ready.

Was fishing this gorgeous river in the sierras once. Couldn't land anything with powerbait eggs so I switched to the only other thing I had in my tiny backpacking tackle box: a spoon lure I bought from a pack store at the trailhead. Limited out in 15 minutes after that

Also, it's best to go trout fishing when it's overcast weather. They don't see the lure in the blinding sun, but as soon as it goes behind a cloud, you'll get a bite every time.

For trout I use bubble bobber filled up to about halfway and then I use a small fly and I reel very, very slow

I've found the bows in my area will hit nearly anything. When im ice fishing baby rainbows will swim up into the hole and take swipes at my barrel swivel

Corn if you want guaranteed catches. Very small Mr Twister jigs fished very slow work when nothing else will.

I was fishing with lures and worms and then sancos and the guy next to me was bringing in trout left to right I didn't catch a single trout today but the guy next to me using a flisking Mino caught 8 good trout

If they're hugging the bottom how is "shortening" you leader going to help?

If the trout are hugging the bottom, by shortening your leader it makes it closer to the bottom therefore closer to the trouts range. Hope that helps! Tight lines!

Yup, 15 minutes or so can be enough if you get zero bites, if you do a get bite, keep using it for a bit, but if you go a while without any bites again, switch again. Yesterday i caught one on hatchery pellet powerbait, then i got no bites again, switched to orange powerbait, got another one, then my third fish was a trout magnet on a bobber. If i would have stuck to just that hatchery pellet powerbait, i probably would have only got that one fish

Whenever my local river gets stocked a panther martin spinner never fails me. This group that sticks my local river stocks a very short stretch and One time I caught 52 trout in 2 and a half hours.

He was talking about using gear such as swivels that are too heavy. If you pay attention to the clip he used when he mentioned them, the one tied to the line was much smaller than the brassy one on the left. Watch the previous video where he actually talks about it.

I have used all kinds of swivels and always always catch trout browns, rainbows, and brook trout. Yes your lure is gonna look more realistic without a swivel but it really doesn’t matter it’s not gonna scare the fish unless you cast it right on top of the fish which any fish would get spooked even if you didn’t have a swivel on it just how I was brought up fishing it all comes down to the technique you use

Hey buddy I don't think you're talking too much about swivels weights and all that I used to catch 19 in Stockton washed him just like that on a heavy lake that was actively being used daily by old men and women so I would like you to to kindly take away the swivel action and all that and take a peek about you know it's all about what using for bait
