I think people have forgotten that Jennifer has said that she never wanted to get married. She’s not looking for anything too deep and Common isn’t either. That’s what makes them a perfect match. I feel like if both are on the same page of not getting in too deep then it will work for them.

You got it! Both of them have not settled! They tried, but God would not let them. They are chosen and committed to God first and his purpose for their lives. Now that they have connected, they will always be there for each other even if they choose not to marry each other like Oprah and Steadman and Deion and Tracey! These are not. ordinary people. They are commissioned by God to be leaders and pioneers in their assigned areas in society! Some women, especially professional women, know too much about them selves , who they really are, and simply can not fit into the worldly identity formed for women who do not know their spiritual identity! They will never fit into most men's definition of a woman and don't want to! They choose to be alone and celibate rather than give up their true God-given identity and freedom for a false identity and slavery! I pray God's blessings upon Common and Jennifer's relationship. It is a blessing to meet someone you can truly relate to and just be yourself with these days without having to experience a whole lot of drama! I am happy for them!

That being said, I think Tiffany was being too forward - let the guy be the one to talk about marriage - that rhetoric about wanting to be proposed to scared Common off. Jennifer on the other hand has said she is not really interested in being proposed to. That is attractive to Common & I won't be surprised if he ends up marrying her.

People kill me having these high expectations for celebrities, but not in their own life. Make it make sense. Of all the toxicity that's going on in these fake Hollywood marriages, why people expect so much from common. At least he never married any of these women and ruined their life. He left before it got toxic. All these women he dated have been in just as many relationships (the Hypocrisy) This man is single, non abusive, and allegedly not accused of being a cheater in these relationships, and yet he get bashed cause he haven't proved to other people that he can settle down.

In my early 20s I use to follow him and after a while I had to unfollow. I wasn't aware of his personal relationship life but his vibrations didn't feel high at all in comparison to the music he use to release. Jennifer and common may in fact be on the same page. All of commons prior relationships seem to end before any children were produced. That may be the common ground between him and Jennifer. They both already have one a piece and by the time they have another before it's even in middle school she'll be in her 50's and him in his 60's and their probably to busy in their careers now perfectly raise a child now. So if Jennifer isn't pushing him for children then he probably doesn't feel threaten in any kind of way and is completely comfortable to committing to her. However it is true that he could possibly really just be more interested in her star power which will enable him to rise in popularity and star status as a result of association they say he's the rapper pimp. He knows to play on Jennifer's weakness for the physically attractive male with a dash of finesse as we can see by her first husband. But we'll see. I may not tell Jennifer to run, but I will say pay attention to red flags and pray for discernment for sure!

Jennifer is grounded and wholesome, so I think this could work. When Serena and Angela dated him, both were very career-oriented. Common does not seem to want a woman who is more powerful or more career-focused than he is. The problem with Tiffany is that she was/is a hot mess with a big mouth. A woman with some discretion and respect about herself appears to be appreciated and respected by Common. Jennifer fits the bill she is successful, humble and not caught up with fame. She will never outshine him or talk too much about their relationship. They can complement each other's strengths and strengthen each other's weaknesses. If they really are together, I hope this works out. It is well deserved for both of them.

Nope. People change when THEY ARE ready. Being inspired by others is temporary when in comes to men wanting to be in a committed relationship, marriage etc. only women FEEL they can change/inspire a man. Men know it’s not true and play on the feelings to those who think so.

Is this not the whole point of dating? You do that until you find someone you really want to settle down with if that’s what you want for your life that is? Maybe she has something the others didn’t and he’s having a change of heart. Then also he just may not want that for his life and that’s ok too. But don’t waste anyone’s time though either.

I feel like he has issues with commitment to Women…. Where is his Mother? - Let’s start there…. He says he likes the feeling of being loved however when he gets that and it’s required to be reciprocated with his actions such as commitment/ marriage/ a baby things a woman would usually want when in a long term relationship.
