We get our best nights sleep in our camper van. We still sleep in our bed at home but really enjoy our travels and our restful nights.

Regarding stealth... I would also point out that when people think about campers or motorhomes they are picturing big class A's, towables, or even truck campers. I've shown off our Embassy to many people and one of the first things they say is... "Oh! I thought it was a camper". Their mind thinks big and boxy, not van-like, so even with vans that have an A/C on top or other doo dads, many people are still thinking a passenger vehicle or delivery truck. Be seeing you!

When we leave our van I put all the blinds in then turn on our battery operated radio. Put on talk radio if you can find it.

Another safety tip is to leave a radio on in your van. Just loud enough to hear if you are really close.

The" why" one wants to travel in a class B van was a really good thought provoking question that helped me. We are selling our 42 DP and looking at a Grech Strada ion Tour model. Comfort, ease, less stress, no extra car needed, fun, part time travel are our whys. Hope we can join the van life community in 2023.

The GL is much harder to find recently. k 😮is more common or without the Lithium. I am a fan of the Embassy RV but not as much a fan of the the layouts, specially the partial bath. Hi Scott, Wenatchee Wayne back on the radar. We finally bought a Winnebago Solis! Bottom line, floor plan is EVERYTHING. We pick up our rig this April in Iowa. My question is: What items do we buy in preparation for our 2 week maiden voyage back to WA state? We can drop ship Amazon purchases to the dealership and our sales lady will store the packages in our van.

Hi Scott, really enjoy your videos. A question please, how many times do you wish you had AWD like in the Ford Transit van? I understand that you mainly camp urban, but has there been any times you got stuck because of wet grass, mud or sand? Ford has just come out with their new Ford Transit Trail - a lifted, off road ready camper van base. This looks like the answer for people who want to boondock in the West and also to hit the National Parks with unpaved roads. Best wishes to you for a wonderful 2023.
