I dropped over $400 on Boutique By The Box for 10 pieces each on For Love & Lemons & L’Agence pieces and I was literally in tears over how bad it was. Everything was in the sizes XXS, XS, 0, and 2 and I just barely scraped by selling enough to recoup that initial cost. I felt completely scammed with the garbage sizes and the For Love & Lemons stuff just being sold at Victoria’s Secret. I completely lost my support of the reseller KZfaqr that referred me. I’m glad you’re so honest with your reviews.

Same here, I still have Good American Jeans from last year. I paid $25 each one and a few months after they were offering same jeans in bulk for live shows $8 each one. Comps went straight to the floor.

Seem like the common thread, they always give the xxs, xs 0 , 2 PS, type of inventory so they don't have to sale or deal with it.

I have never received a great box from any of the companies. That is why I stick to sourcing in person. Thanks for doing this video though. It serves as a good reminder. I wonder if these items came from an Everlane Outlet store or something similar.

I ordered 2 boxes last year from Boutique by the Box. Prana and Daydreamer. I've sold 2 of the Prana items and thats it. The styles were totally saturated on ebay and I've got 10 of the same flannel shirts and 10 of the same style of jeans. I could take them to consignment shops but I think they aren't buying winter anymore so I am stuck with all this unsellable inventory. The Daydreamer has sold a few more but they've taken forever to sell and I didn't get very much return on them. Every wholesale box I've ever bought from any company has really been stuff thats very hard to move. I give up on boxes. I think I'll stick to thrifting.

You definitely find better things at the thrift! I think you may have to hold on for some of these pieces for awhile but some of them will sell. Do I think it was worth $400? No, but I enjoyed watching you open it! Always fun to try something new! Great video!

Got the same, for what people pay was a bit disappointed, I never find everlane in my thrifts. I'm going to avoid Boutique by the Box for a long while last two boxes have been let downs.

As for the box, not too exciting but I'm sure you will eventually sell the items as the label does have a loyal following. :) Definitely common for multiple items in these liquidation boxes.

Hi Courtney, I thought I would chime in bc I have bought many NWT everlane wholesale boxes. I have learned what sells best in the brand for me. For me, their pants do best, not the leggings or activewear, but their barrel pants and straight leg. Also their silk tops that are solid color. They are known for their simple staples, so the weird colors don't do well for me personally. Good news, I have not seen any of the tops you got in your box, or the dresses, so hopefully it's not saturated. I love selling this brand. They def have a following. Hoping you sell a lot of this and I always appreciate your candid reviews. Also, you are so brave and beautiful to share your bra haul. xo Quenby

I got 2 Boutique By the Box Everlane Boot Boxes. 5 pairs for 200$, so 10 pairs total, 40$ a pair. I was hoping the would sell faster, but I just sold my 3rd pair after about 3 months. 1 sold for 84$, 1 for 120$, and 1 for 175$ (free ship), so Ive grossed about 295$. I probably will need to sell 2 more pairs before I break even, and 2 of the pairs I received I will likely not make much on as they are rubber rain boots (they did not disclose i could potentially get those). I estimate I will end up profiting about $250 once they all finally sell, but I dont think I would do it again. Too much money tied up for who knows how long, without a great return. I saw this box and after seeing your unboxing Im glad I didnt go for it. Ive been seriously burned by them before with a "high end legging" box of which I still have the majority or the no name bright yellow leggings that made up the bulk of the box. They did have an Everlane sweater box that could have potentially been the best of all their Everlane wholesale, but it was somethimg like 30$ a piece and sold out fast. Wholesale is hard.

You did get bottoms, leggings and shorts are bottoms as they go on your bottom half. Also yes reading before any purchase is essential.

I appreciate your honest take on this box. I ordered from them last year and still have most of the pieces because all the styles were so saturated from so many resellers getting the same stuff. I don’t waste my money on wholesale anymore. I know your far from buy sell trade stores but that might be an easier way to recover some money from this box.

Love the Parade review! I will check it out as I would love some non underwire bras. Regarding the box, i have heard resellers say they started with these boxes from Boutique by the box so thank you for trying one for us to see. I am not a huge fan of everlane as i like special pieces rather rhan essentials so this one would have been hard for me too. I am shocked that they didnt throw in 1 or 2 pairs of jeans as i feel like thats what they are know for. Hoping you make the money soon!!!

A couple positives... Some of the colors I do think are decent for spring. Everlane has a good name for quality so even those that haven't heard of Everlane leggings still might purchase to try them out at a discounted price than what they would pay at the store, and the men's flannels might actually be the first to sell. I would start out on the higher end of the middle prices on comps. You can always lower later if needed. Just my thoughts. If you get it listed quickly, prior to spring break trips I'm thinking you might actually make maybe $300. Not great considering time and investment, but it's definitely better than losing money.

I've been considering helpsy source, they seem to have quality boxes with items that actually sell. My only hang up is, like you mentioned, how many other resellers are getting the same exact items & how flooded will the market be.

I’ve ordered with Helpsy a few times. Mostly their NWT Halara boxes when Halara was really hot last year and I made bank off of them. I ordered one of their UO secondhand boxes and it was garbage. If you find NWT inventory that looks like a good brand to sell I’d recommend them as trustworthy, but highly advise against the secondhand boxes. It’s hard with them though because if they get a box that they see is blowing up after the first drop they massively jack up the price during their next drop (as in double thus double the cost per each item) so you really have to hit it at the right time.

Out of all the wholesale boxes I've purchased, Helpsy Source was the most profitable for secondhand boxes.

It's not to say they're perfect but I've done so much better with helpsy boxes than BBTB (though that's not saying much)

I’ve never tried Helpsy under that name, but I tried them under their previous name and I did not get anything good, so I have no plans of trying them again. But, I’m happy to hear that some people have gotten good boxes. I only trust thrifting as a way to source.

Helpsy is better than BBTB but I get nothing but outdated old stuff from helpsy..they give more variety in their items but only had 1 profitable box from them out of 5

I’ve seen some great unboxing videos from Helpsy Source! Apparently they have an Everlane pants/jeans box NWT! The Grateful Queen did a video on it and said it was her favorite and she made a great return! Also, just a heads up about Outdoor Voices if you do one of those boxes… although there retail is high, I find that the leggings do not move at all resale and if they do they go for like $10-$18 if your lucky, sadly! Love your videos!! Hope this helps! 😊

Yep, I rarely pick up Outdoor Voices, but I like the brand for myself and I could sell pieces to people at my yoga studio, which would be the only reason I would try that one. I tried Helpsy when they were under a different name and I got a terrible box, so I won’t be buying from them again.

I didn't know so many people didn't like green lol! I love to wear it but really only the darker shades, yeah mint can be tough. Maybe with the y2k trends it'll come back lol. Another unboxing of this I saw was very similar; BBTB does tend to send out many of the same exact box somehow, and lots of duplicates within them.

Yea, I threw away good money on this box as well. Other KZfaq unboxing videos have threads of information about where this came from, evidently an outlet called Otrium closed. I can’t verify this, it’s just what I read on another channel

These were all from otrium's site. They're the exact same items I saw on there before they closed. They have otrium's inventory stickers on them as well, I can see in the video. I know so much about their inventory system because every time otrium would send a wrong item they wanted a photo of the inventory sticker on the bag so they could figure out how they messed it up.

I tried boutique by the box. I honestly haven’t ordered another box from them. I thought it was because I was new at reselling at the time. I don’t like helpsy source . I have ended up crying after getting their boxes because I wasted my money and time. I am still new at reselling so I don’t have any advice.

You will make a profit on it though Everlane NWTs around 20-30 depending on styles but may sit a while knits do better didn’t know they did athletic wear so that be cool to try. You could also grab few same sizes and lot them them 👍🏼

Wow that XXL yellow and white striped top would have been the last thing I wanted to wear back when I wore an XXL! But then yellow is a bad color for me. For someone who looks great in that color, it could be a fun choice. (Or er a bold statement!)

I ordered and received the outdoor voices box yesterday. Not as many duplicates as the Everlane box, but many duplicates nonetheless, the issue I had with that box is the sizes were either extra small extra extra small or XXL. I am going to try to sell half the box and 10 piece slots for my cost and then try to sell 20 items. I hope that works! The worst box I ever received from BBB is the prana box I have sold only one item from it I really like this company, but I really need to think twice before I buy again.

Ugh, fingers crossed you make money on the box. I ordered from boutique by the box a couple years ago. It was a trial mix box of new with tags items. While I got a mix of items, it was only 5 or 6 items and 4 had flaws, which wasn’t mentioned. So I’ve never ordered from them again.

Yikes. So disappointing. I recently looked at their site too but won't be taking a chance. I sourced today from Whatnot. It "seemed" like really good deals so we'll see! I'm going to track it all and see how it goes. One show was all bundles for reselling but you were shown each item and they were NWT. I feel better at least seeing what I bought before I bought it and like you said about driving/time, the COG seemed very promising. But that's what I don't like about a lot of those places like what you are showing is not knowing exactly what you are getting most of the time.

By the way, only one item was in my size, the lavender leggings.they feel compressed but once you wear them you will love them. They are so warm and comfy. I don't want to take them off. The color is beautiful.

Hi Courtney, wow I think the box is disappointing. It isn't anything that you would normally choose. The colours may be good for upcoming spring but the styles are questionable. I've ordered 4 boxes from them. Two of them were AWFUL and two were pretty good. I got the everlane dresses box and I've about doubled my money. Was a great box in the summer when I got it

They’re such a hit or miss company. I bought this same box, mostly because of the hype from Helpsy Source’s Everlane box. I’ve sold one pair of leggings so far. I also bought two of their Everlane sweater boxes on the same day, so 40 pieces worth, and have already sold 6 of them and they’ve only been listed a week or so. I was really worried because I had 10 duplicates of one item and 10 of another out of that lot which seems excessive to me, but if they move then that’s great. I’ve had a few really good boxes from them, but more often it’s either a complete flop (their Prana & Ted Baker) or they just do okay and I make a little more back than I spent.

Picture this: you buy your first box from Boutique By the Box and the very first thing you posted sold for a $300 profit in less than an hour. You're a brand new reseller and that's your largest flip yet. You are RIDING THAT HIGH. So you go ahead and order EVERY LAST BOX THEY HAVE FROM THAT BRAND. And a few other boxes. Several thousand dollars later.... I've sold that initial piece and a few damaged items for very, very little. 😂😭😭😭😭

box cutters are really cheap. i have 2 small circular ones with razor blades. takes 3 seconds to open any package.

Looks pretty cheap and it cost way too much for what you get. You could have done better at that good place your mother went to and got you really good items way cheaper than that box. Good luck on getting some of your money back.

Oh my..This is awrful. Clearly all the stuff they could not sell on their own website. You should in future check to see if duplicates and max number of dups are in a box. Colors and terrible and hard to sell, styles are just so not stylish. I wish you the best in recouping your investment. If you think about it as a learning/education for yourself and your viewers, i'ts worth it! hopefully you make more than $400 on this video from youtube! I have never bought a box like this and never plan to. I have moved into rare vintage so finding that perfect piece is my new normal.

I definitely wouldn’t have ordered this without the YT money, and hopefully it’s helpful for other resellers to see. I do feel bad for all the people that ordered it for inventory only. These companies have never been great, and I don’t think they will ever be worth it, IMO.

I have bought from this company YEARS ago and everything they sell is the same items for everyone. NOTHING sells for me. I wasted 400 on a prana box last year the box was mainly duplicate jeans not one pair of Jean's has sold. I sold some flannels but will never buy from them again. There is no variety.

I got this box and really regret it. I do well with Helpsy's Everlane boxes. Apparently, BBTB bought out the Everlane from another Liquidation company and they went out of business. Most of the boxes I have purchased from BBTB I haven't done well with mainly because they send the SAME items to everyone.....

You are being too nice. This is a bad investment of $400. Imagine what you can do at the bins for that money. Good for content though. And a warning to whoever wass thinking of getting one.
