Thanks for the input! I appreciate it so much. But I just gotta disagree on the cultural aspect of globalization selling us unnecessary beauty standards, for example. I think it’s more to do with our local media marketing colorism to the public. The western media we consume are more progressive and our country has a lot to learn from it. The West is steps ahead of us in combatting racism, colorism, fatphobia, homophobia, transphobia, etc. They sell us values like tolerance and acceptance of other people’s choices. If anything, globalization has helped open up minds of many people here to not only tolerate but also accept our differences.
