at 75 years; looking back...the best thing I ever did was get Baptized Catholic at age 42; and then live out my consecration to JESUS thru MARY these 33 years since! Thanks be to God!!! Remember Fr. Mark Beard said in his homily two days before he died to pray for his soul and NOT assume he went to heaven. He was adamant about that and we should do that for all who have died. May God bless and have mercy on his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed. He was a good priest but we are all sinners.

I was board certified in infection and our journal never found Catholic communion infectious. How can harm come from Christ s blood or body.

I see your point on people not wanting to receive the wine and blood of Jesus during covid...so why did the church take away the holy water during covid, to make the sign of the cross?

NEVER take Holy Communion in the hands! ONLY Consecrated hands (from a Priest) can touch it...Father Beard himself mentioned it in one of his Homilies. We are supposed to receive it ONLY on the tongue. GOD bless this wonderful Priest who is now in Heaven.

Most priests in my area will not give on the tongue
