Khmer Rouge were US-backed and US-funded, and they were taken down by the Vietnamese communists. Pol Pot claimed to be a communist to get backing by communists in Asia, but none of his ideology that I'm aware of was actually communist. After that he got funding from the US to destabilise the region, which he did.

I still hope some day the glory days of communism gonna back, not like Marxism Leninism, because the people dont want this system anymore, today's the people want prosperity, work and (unfortunately) much consumism, with dedication, competence and responsibility we can still have goods like a PlayStation4 or a luxury full-price Mercedes-Benz in the same time we bring food , money and free health for the workers in a socialist country We are in the era of informations, with a strong militancy, strong intellectuals, strong ideas and a leader who care about the people (like Vladmir I. Lenin) we can build a great socialist nation from 0, but remember, its the era of information, not the era of knowledge, like they did to Lenin, they'll create lies to manipulate and alienate people to fight against us, they'll unite to destroy us, they'll sabotage our goals to descend our moral like the kulaks did to the soviets, but also like the soviets, we can't abandon our goals because of a damn bunch of billionaire capitalists who dont care about nothing unless the money and the capital, but we still need the help of some capitalists, like Elon Musk (just for example) I not creating a moralist text like this to raise up our hope, but because we need to do that, the proletariat question is easy to solve compared to the question of the Global Warming, its isn't a hoax like the lunatics and anti-science people say, the earth will remain, but humans and most of the today's living species will *die* because of the billionaires greed
