TY...grew up in Helena. BT is one of my favorite places! Hop skip and a jump from McLeod and up the Boulder to Christikon...the summer shepard trail.

Rory, I recently watched you on the Traditional Skills Summit. You talked about almost wanting to become Amish and wanting to learn how to live in Community. My family and I are right there with ya! I am glad though that I haven’t given up internet because I wouldn’t be connected in this online community of homesteaders who choose a harder, yet simpler life. Thank you for sharing your one room schoolhouse and your thoughts on life. God Bless you as you journey and thank you for the encouragement!

The Amish community has thier own set of serious issues and problems. While from the outside the Amish look like hard working, loving communities that don't fall for the same capitalistic "english" ways. On the inside u see rampant physical, sexual and verbal abuse. And the elders protecting the abusers-not the victims. Lemme remind u: all that glitters is NOT gold.

We did this as kids i can still smell the clean air in the AM and the fresh corn . Someone told me recently you dont have to blanche the corn to freeze it? Anyone else hear that? Blessings and love to you and your family Rory❤

The poor man has to move forward with his life. As it is everything he has accomplished has been for Joey, let's him do something for himself, poor guy, feel sorry for him. To meet that is good news. He can never remarry with Joey being constantly before him . She is gone. Has a hope of a resurrection in the future.
