There are many stories of Vishnu using the Sudharshana Chakra to devastate enemies and kill various demons. The Sudharshana Chakra was fashioned from the radiance of the Sun by Vishvakarma, the celestial architect, and it contains tremendous purifying energies as well as great healing power and supreme victory consciousness. Vishnu uses the resplendent light of the Sudharshana Chakra to help stabilize the entire universe.
