Nice, I've just been outifitng by S5 iiX with a vmount setup, I went with the smal rig powerplate. Its a bit more fiddly than your one which might be a better option 😂 might check out that baeplate system too. Would love to see how the Cookes stack up next to the vespids. My bank balance probably wont like that video.

They’re wicked little cameras! Especially for people shooting stills too. If it wasn’t for the battery issue it would be near enough perfect (IMO)

I think about Tilta cage and battery left handle. They say more than 2h of 4K 60... it would be really nice for hand held if it is true. Do you have some experience with their cages since you have nucleus? BTW All great setups, but SP3s WOW dream combo. KOMODO, R5C, SP3 and maybe SIRUI Saturn set for anamorhpic projects. Thanks for great content!

Thank you!! I’ve only really used smallrig cages and they’re great :) I’ve got a few tilta bits but nothing major so can’t really comment I’m afraid. Really looking forward to shooting more stuff with the SP3s, more to come soon!

@@bandwagonbull I have smallrig on the R5 and the same cage fits on R5C. But I went on the Power bank and PD charging instead of V mount. Now I will try Tilta to be just R5C set up. But I strongly considering Komodo X for the A cam so please put more content on compatibility with R5C and post process. Matching profiles and stuff. I have lot of RF glass so maybe talking heads could work with autofocus. Looking forward for SP3 and that famous Cooke look in your videos!!

Ooorrr you csn power the camera from a d tap usb c and use the usb c port for the motor. That way you dont need the smallrig pro version or any other battery that has 2 usb c ports

Yesss that’s a good idea! Will have to check the draw from that cable as it specifically needs USB C to pull enough power, but I’m sure it would work. Think you may have just saved me some money 😅🤟🏻

@@bandwagonbull it does work i use it the same way w my a7 S III also D tap gives you a lot more power than standard usb c to usb C.
