Doing great in my book. 2024 has been good to CoH3- I've finally gotten my friends and family to switch over, and I think they've really been enjoying it!

Its tough. I do like n love coh3 now. N coh2 we have to remember. Became how good it was after years of updates. Coh2 a forever legend

He is doing great work. He had sooooo much fixing to do when he came in... the game was basically in alpha/beta in terms of bugs and balance.

Hell yes! So many great sounds were swapped for no good reason, there was a lot more fidelity & clarity in the alpha (ignoring the mixing problems)!

Sound is def one of the biggest id say go to's to give it the same heavy hitting atmospheric nature coh2 has. Some iconic af songs to me in coh2 now

Finally someone who admits that they are hard at work. Every time I pick the game, I always have a good time, Skirmish or Single-player campaign whatever.

i just dont understand how no one remembers how big of a pile of dog crap coh2 was when it came out. They did the exact same thing and improved it over the years.

It's still a great game. I got at least 200 hours out of it on console. Worth the 30$

They should never have even made it. Not your fault, but they should never have made it, the game is not suitable for controller. and Yes, I mean any RTS, age of empires 4 also.

Shame that console support has ended. You guys should have launched the last patch to add the final battle groups. It feels unfinished without that patch

@@Seethus not true. Some of us don't like using a mouse and keyboard. Age of empires is great on Xbox series X.

Maybe it was a sega studio that was responsible for the console (what i want to say is that the team working on console might have been on sega side and not relic side) and not the job of relic idk

Hopefully someone will bring a class action suit against them so that it becomes more expensive for them to not continue console support than it would be to continue

Development standards were a lot better back then. Now everyone accepts minimum viable product both consumer and publisher. No bueno, man!

Depends how you define polished. The visual and audio design is mostly better, more atmospheric, and more detailed, not in terms of fidelity but rather the little touches. This was probably because CoH1 was made by a much bigger team and probably a more passionate one, that was cut down significantly once Relic's publisher went out of business and they were auctioned off to SEGA for cheap. The gameplay, performance, quality of life features, replays and pathfinding are significantly more polished in CoH 2 and 3, but especially 3 after a few patches. They had clear design goals for the gameplay and systems, but poor vision for the visuals and sounds, though they've improved significantly since launch and continue to do so.

And the argument doesn't even work considering the game is already on console, they just abandoned it because their game was poorly made and didn't make enough money, so they're gonna try to scrape together what they can and keep trying to get sales off of PC.

@@espartanoluchador3405 Sega forced console version by giving it to ourside studio, which was late with updates.... Relic then tried to help then speed it up and only thanks Relic you got some 0updates after early ones... Then Sega did not give them tools to maintain the console version, after they split up. I quess bad managment was also part of Sega.... And some of bad "managers" were fired.

Sudden Strike 4 has native voice lines. Can't see any reason why Coh 3 doesn't have that feature.

You're out of your depth mate, 4 brand new huge battlegroups, 4 factions, 2 campaigns... and you still want more when it's already more than we ever had in the same time frame x) Game modes are what's needed, like they had planned! Tank battle royal, Operation (coop survival ala CoH1), stuff like that :°

@@johnpavlock06 just try to make do with what you got there's still plenty of content so try and experiment I personally like to try and see how long I can maks the battles go on for in vs AI without loosing

@@AutumnThe_Toaster I'll have to try that. I finished the dynamic campaign and I'm almost done with the Afrika Corps campaign and tried a little bit of the ai skirmishes for fun so that'll be fun to do when I'm done
