Allies Jeep in Company of Heroes takes 5 shots froms a Tiger!
Here are some interesting facts about the video:
o It is not from a mod. The footage is from the 1.5 patch
o The map is Montargis Region map (4v4)
o The video footage is not a normal occurence in the game
What you witness in the movie is an extremely rare occurrence in the game, and should be viewed and enjoyed as such. As someone said, what you are viewing is the virtual equivalent of someone winning the lottery.

Things like this still happen every now and then, but it's only in situations where it doesn't make a difference. The last patch had a TON of game breaking bugs in it (british emplacements simply wouldn't fire) but the latest one is VERY good. Good job Relic.

I couldn't help but feel for the guys in the jeep after they survived the first three shots, but were then ordered to cap two more points under fire.

We can have some real long run time with this. i am seeing Caddyshack. i am seeing Rodney Dangerfield driving the tank,and Bill Murray manning the main gun and a little gopher driving the jeep...every shot the gopher gets up and dances to im alright.

Both. It was a bug that was fixed in the 1.6 patch, but it was also pure luck. It virtually never happened.

Be sure to check my Map Overview Replay of Company of Heroes as well guys. It's game replayed at 32x speed via the overview map. It looks pretty kewl, like a bunch of ants scurrying around the map.

It wasn't a glitch. Chuck Norris just went into the computer and became the driver of that jeep. It only blew up because he decided to take over the Tiger, instead.

This happend to me when against a British general he picked up a rocket laucher and became unbeatable. In in the end it toke about 1 hour with 5 panthers, 6 panzerschrecks and some arty to take him out. I named him Chuck Noris.

I know if I was that Tank Commander I'd be losing my fucking mind. Though it seems like he did get angry near the end, decided to move in and place the turret on top of the jeep. And it worked. :)

another reason why he survived that long coz he had some good cover from high ground in the beggining. then later,i think the tiger hit the barrels 2 times before hitting the jeep :D.

I remember one time my 25 pounder arty rounds were fired at the enemy base and about half of them just bounced off some PE scout cars. I was so damn pissed, but it was the funniest thing I ever saw.

No it isn't, it's a from a real game, no trainer, hack, or exploit was used. Relic recognized the problem and fixed it in the 1.6 patch. From the patch notes, and I quote, "- Allied M3 Halftrack and Jeep armor is no longer highly resistant to projectile ammunition."

dummies thats not bug.. just each car and tank have a strong armor part.. and if a bomb hits in a way in that spot it is probably not blowing but bouncing.. i love how real this game can get

lol I'm sure the guy was pissed when his tiger's shots just bounced of the jeep. I'm surprised in took a point blank shot just to kill the jeep. I just use Puma's with upgraded 75 mm guns to take care of meddling jeeps...:P

I've hit a jeep with an 88 and the shot bounced. Still it took away a good 60% health on the poor jeep. The next shot it wasn't that lucky. But it is fun to see the extreme statistical happenings.

Yeah, but the greyhound has something morepowerful than the .30 cal of the jeep. It is still practically impossible but I gues if you hit the right spot on the tiger eg. rear armour, it might just be able to penetrate it... would take a shitload of shots though...

Lolz, ive done something odd like that in BF1942......I had a Jeep and my dad had Tiger and he just sat there as i rolled up and rammed him then we both blew up haha

Probability? It's so unlikely that that would ever happen. It wouldn't! I guess that these games aren't perfect and sometimes that happens, but it shouldn't. Just think about it for a second... A tiger, one of the most powerful tanks in the game... in the world at the time... fires a shot, no 5 at a tiny little jeep and all 5 of 88mm rounds bounce off the jeeps incredibly thin armour.

There is no King Tiger in CoH. Other than that, this shows some really dumb scenarios that can happen in the game. I'd like to see a bike deflect a 57mm shell sometime. And NOT see machineguns and mortars deflect tank shells, ever.

battle* encounter wild jeep GO TIGER jeep uses a reflexion shield. tiger uses quick fire 1,2,3,4,5.... hit! hit got reflected by shield. jeep run away. you gain -1 exp xD

Sorry, there's nothing real about a jeep sustaning tank rounds that could penetrate every allied tank armour 4 times in a round. It's why this is so sadly bad it's fun. HAHAHAA, poor tiger, i would die of anger. And i always play germans
