From her first and self-titled album (1979), a masterpiece which has never faded with the coming and going of vogue. This is one of my favourite of her songs. A bloody great woman.

for the amount of joy she's brought to my life, Rickie is welcome to one of my kidneys and about half of my liver. Uh . . . the liver probably won't work. That's whiskey for ya.

She broke my heart, and kissed me tenderly, and captured me from her debut album. Rickie's an artist's artist... Simply genius!

This girl is a national treasure...she and her music fill me up. Knowing a bit about her history, I am motivated by her bravery and...my heart bleeds for her lost love. Rickie, I am but one of many millions who love you so much. God bless you Baby girl and thank you for touching my soul.

I came to this song through Dianne Reeves. It is one of my all time favorites, to sing, to contemplate, to cry to, to heal by... I keep hoping some film will use this and make her a ton of money and introduce the song to hordes of people. Thank you for posting this.

I'll remember you too clearly But I'll survive another day Conversations to share When there's no one there I'll imagine what you'd say I'll see you in another life now, baby I'll free you in my dreams But when I reach across the galaxy I will miss your company Company I'll be looking for company Look and listen Through the years Someday you may hear me Still crying, I'm still crying Crying for company I'm still crying for company So now you're going off to live your life You say we'll meet each other now and then But we'll never, never be the same And I know I'll never have this chance again But no, not like, not like you So, I'll see you in another life now, baby I'll free you in my dreams But when I reach across the galaxy I will miss somewhere I will miss your company Company I'll be looking for company Look and listen Through the years Someday you may hear me Still crying, I'm still crying Crying for company Listen to me I'm still crying for company Company, my company For company
