I just ordered the folded pad, I was bummed that the rolled was out of stock, but from this video it appears the folded will work better for me. Plus I could always just roll it up

For times when it get unexpectedly cold, you can fold them in half and you get a 1/4 torso size pad with 1R- Value. I am 6ft and the Folded Pad works excellent in that way. 🤙🏻

The folded version has a smooth face and dirt brushes off easier.

TY for this video Dave! I just ordered the rolled because the folded was sold out. Was wondering the difference and what I missed out on not getting the folded.

Thank you for your review. What are the dimensions of the folded version once ‘folded’?

Consumer's clearly prefer 25" inflatable pads, one wonders why GG doesn't make a 25" Thinlight foam-pad?

generally doesnt need to cover the whole thing, its too short for some too but leaves a few inches all around no problem

@@jzubs - Comfortable air-pads have side-rails, where the sides are slightly thicker than the middle. If one lifts only the middle of the air-pad with the foam-pad, it negates the purpose of the side-rail. That, and it leaves air-pad sides susceptible to thorns and stickers. This author uses MLD's 80"-wide 1/8" foam-pad cut-down to 27" width. However MLD's pad is stickier than GG's and not as resilient as GG's. GG uses better modulus foam and why this author'd rather see GG widen their excellent 1/8" foam pad.
