Great vid! Well researched. For comment readers I’d only add that not all inks are lightfast/waterproof and not all inks can go in a fountain pen. To be less cryptic, r&k sketch ink (like in this vid) and carbon platinum ink are good for lightfastness and for water resistance when dry (You still need to clean out your fountain pen more if you use these). Regular ink is generally fugitive in light and smears with water. China and India ink aren’t fountain pen friendly, they have some kind of shellac or something and dry stiff and crusty. ✒️

I loved the video! The fountainpen nib of the brass pen can be changed. For the plastic ones, you can buy a new frontpiece. So the nib section plus where you hold your fingers. Most of the time special editions cannot be changed, because they don't sell the lose front section in the same color. I hope that makes sense

I’m interested in getting the roller ball sport. But everyone warns me that it feels very cheap and light weight . But I mostly care about the writing quality . Does it write smoothly with no skips? And is it bold ?
