Intellidrive gave some technology to Deere. And Deere gave intellidrive Access to greenstar screens

On the 1990ccs we had to manually lock up the front gangs with bolts and insert blockers into the air delivery tubes. The n530c still has the blockers to insert but locking up the front or rear gangs is simply done by flipping a hydro lockup valve on the bar!

Both are the same size at 30’ wide. There are bigger models available but they are harder to transport and fit into storage buildings due to their size. Overall speed during seeding should be the same but the new drill will be more accurate and will allow us to use less seed (due to less overlap on the ends) and will also allow us to variable rate seed so we can better place the seed where it can preform its best in the field

I've ran all sorts of mixed cover crops through it. The smallest seed in a mix was rapeseed and it went through without issue

It depends what you’re wanting to do with it. Standard John Deere row planters with vacuum meters are more accurate than the drill/air seeder but the drills/air seeders can plant a wide variety of seeds in various row widths, and do a really good job

I can seed about 250a day on a good day with our 30’ seeder.

Either with a seed tender or with a forklift lifting a seed box above it

Both of these are 30’ wide but they make them much bigger. We went with the 30’ because it has a narrower main frame and is shorter, making it much easier to transport
