Comparing SRAM AXS Eagle XX1 vs X01 vs GX | Is WIRELESS worth it?
I have now tested all three SRAM AXS Eagle drivetrains and these are my thoughts about the system and if it is worth upgrading. AXS XX1 vs AXS X01 vs AXS GX.

Have the AXS GX as it came stock on my 2022 Specialized Diverge gravel bike. What I don't like is the light chain tension, especially noticeable when in the smallest gears.

Yes, miss the Shimano type clutch sometimes on SRAM drivetrains. But can't you tighten your clutch, I think you can adjust in some way? Or just take away a link?

I have AXS GX Rear mech and it is pretty cool. I don’t think it shifts any better . I just like how the cockpit looks, so much neater I have gone for the dropper post too

Yes, I like that tidy part a lot! And that you rarely have to touch any adjustments after the initial setup.

Usually you don't want to mix brands like that, but I understand that you don't want to replace your entire wheel. Here is a guy that tested gx on a shimano hub. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ecBmZ6t1sNjan6s.html

Solid video TY. Question, I have the GX version right now and am considering picking up an XO1 as a BU in case I happen to destroy the GX. On my last outing I banged the derailleur and the part that has the Sram logo "GX" on it seems to be made of plastic and am concerned about durability. Does the XO1 also have a plastic shell or is it made out of metal like the regular analog GX option? If not, I'll just get a BU GX and save the bucks. Thanks!

Sorry, I don't have any X01 AXS bike at home right now and I never thought about the material on that bit. If you don't find the answer on the internet, maybe it's worth checking out a LBS? AXS bikes are pretty common and chances are that there is a X01 AXS bike there which you can take a closer look at. Good luck!

I wouldn’t waste my money. I have the XX1 version as the much better valued GX one hadn’t been released. All reviewers say the GX is as good as the more expensive options.

X01 Cassette and Chain everything else is better to keep GX. This setup will free up that extra weight. It’s performance and perfection. If you damage the cage it’s much cheaper to replace a GX one!!

Got the full kit bit by bit all new for £320 over a couple of weeks as full kits are £475 plus

@@MTBs So was buying a last years embt at 1/3 off. The bike industry s over pricing everything when it comes out. I like to eat as well as bike !
