I have a tek and the large innate life brush. I agree the tek is more flexible, but the innate life brush just feels right in the hand

Glad to hear I’m not the only feeling that way, it’s exactly like that! The Tek is more flexible but something about the Innate Life brush just feels right😅 both are great in their own way!

My detangling brush is the one from The Innate Life, I believe there’s a link in the YT video. I prefer that one because it’s wheat straw and not plastic like others, so it avoids static, but detangles just as well as other detangling brushes.

Why is it bad to detangle with these brushes? As long as you start from the bottom and work your way up, shouldn't it be fine?

It may work better for someone with thick hair, but I have naturally fine hair and I notice a lot of breakage when I use these to detangle. Which is why I use the Innate Life Detangling brush to detangle.
