I'm here because of magic survival I've been playing the game since version 0.788 and the developers really developed the game to make it more fun and enjoyable also they removed a feature that can combine the abilities and make new and powerful one's ,I don't know why they removed it tho,Anyways I think you all should try this game I promise you it is fantastic.

Removing that feature was definitely the better option. Back when that feature was around, you had to upgrade 2 abilities to the max ( lv 8 I think ? ) just so you can try out a new magic you've potentially never seen or used before. Even then , if you didn't use the wiki , you would have to find these fusions yourself which adds towards the uncertainty of the usefulness of the new abilities

Some quick info Recently all UI and system reset Became a whole new game (0.859) But we keep our spend researchs. Also, version 0.86 will be out in several weeks or month Some even not happy with the 0.859 update. Looks like gacha thing

Magic Survival is SSS tier. Personally, I think it's even better than Vampire Survivors. Although Vampire Survivors have banger sound tracks while Magic Survival only has depressing rain and ambient sounds.(The menu theme sounds nice still)

Magic survival is one of my favourite mobile games, I've played it for over a year and it has so many fun magics, combinations and mechanics that makes you want to keep playing. It also has a very nice art style and every update they make adds a big new feature. Glad that you put it in S tier. :)

Magic Survival is actually the game that inspired Vampire Survival (according to the Vampire Survival developer). It's hard to compare the two, but I think everyone should at least give Magic Survival a try 😊

I came because of magic survival, because it is an inspiration for vampire survivors and it gains levels on killing enemy which is not needed to get orbs when killed enemies.

20 minutes to dawn also just came out on steam, instead of using a second joystick and firing automatically, you aim with the mouse and fire manually

I really like the genre and thanks to you i am gonna try out Grimnight Heroes, DarkSurvival and Gothic Survival. I have been playing or spending so many times on Magic Survival lately and i was looking something similar to genre and god i am glad i have clicked this video so that i can enjoy more of this games of the same kind. I have 20 minutes until dawn on Steam and i am planning to give it a try maybe it gets out of early acess. Thanks for the video and keep up with the good work!

One thing I absolutely despise about this type of game is that many games like this implement energy system to limit your playtime, and I shit you not these devs absolutely milk this system to get more profit despite the obnoxiously amount of ads inside it.

That's a question that is surprisingly difficult to answer. I've wondered the same, but never personally found the time to try the free version. I've heard that it's almost the same, though. So definitely give the free version a try first 🙌

Some call it Bullet Heaven, yeah. Others use Reverse Bullet Hell. While I love the idea of calling it Bullet Heaven, it's not practical since there is a game by that name too. So it causes some confusion 😅 It'll be interesting to see how we'll refer to the genre in a few years. I honestly don't know which name will ultimately win.

I really like this kind of endless game but there's only 1 thing....yes the main problem that bother me is that the majority of them have "energy system" i hate that a lot.imagine it took 15min+ just for 1 energy and it cost 10 to start the game💀nah

@@ZamWeazle Too heavy for mobile means that, no matter the amount of compressing we perfom, mobiles won't be able to properly run the game. A great case of it is the Warhammer series. On mobile there is Lost Crusade, Tacticus or Freeblade, yet none of these really concur to the big rts we have on pc. And it's solely because those are too heavy for mobile.

Why not call Reverse Bullet Hell simply Bullet Heavens? Would make sense to me. Also, why are we surrounded by idiots like me?

I think one of the issues with using "Bullet Havens" is that it's also the name of a game. So it could be confusing to some. If that wasn't the case, I'd also personally prefer the Bullet Haven name for the genre :) I agree, mate.

I don't think a game should be ranked lower based on it's iAPs. Now sure exceptions would be made for those that literally shove microtransactions in your face, we all know that sucks and can make a game unplayable. But if it has like a separate store page that *you as a person yourself* have to physically interact with to go to and purchase the microtransactions, you *DO NOT HAVE TO INTERACT WITH IT.* If you are just soooooooo tempted that you have to spend money on mobile game, you likely should be getting help for a money spending addiction. Unless of course you have the money to spend, in which case, get that microtransaction bread.

Survival io is so boring and repetitive All of these games pale in comparison to vampire survivors though. Shouldn't even be in the same list.

I only included Survival.io because it's extremely popular, and I wanted to show people that there are better alternatives 😊 And yeah, when I make a 2023 version of this video, Vampire Survivors will definitely be in there (it hadn't released when I made this one) 🙌

the idea of a bullet storm game is it's got alot of replayability u pick them up easy but difficult to put down and makes them slightly addictive and they're games u can either play for ten minutes or ten hours and the game play is quite satisfying where online games seem more overwhelming nowadays u don't have to worry as much about microtransactions and things as much as well in order to progress like in other games such as MMOs which takes alot more work to progress or money. People like them because of their hybrid simplicity between unleashing hell and surviving also the retro art work is appealing unless you're a new bloomer. Though the genre is not for everyone what brought my attention to it is 20 minutes till dawn because it nails bullet storm on the head as well as downwell.
