The Nigerian Naira is moRe valuable than the Ghanaian currency because in 2007 Ghana Redominated it’s currency and removed four zeros from behind it.

It was actually decided by 10,000. It is called redenomination of cedis. For example, when the cedi('second' cedi) was redenominated to the Ghana cedi, four zeros were dropped from the old currency. Thus 10,000 cedi of the 'old' currency became 1 'Ghana cedis.

Ghana money was decided by 1000 years ago. The real comparison is 1000 Naira to 1200 cedis

@@Travelwaka Yes pls. Your money was Re-dominated like 10 years ago by deviding it by 10,000 . The current value of your money is what ever you have mutiplt by 10,000 . That will give the the true vaue to a dollar.

@@Travelwaka always funny when you make content without even putting minimal work in research... that 11 cedis is same as 110,000 old Ghana cedis .... type "cedis denomination" even on this same KZfaq and see different content some even from 2007 on this issue

I am glad to see Nigerians that know it always looks greener on the other side till one actually does their research, Ghanas economy is a Joke they got big heads after redenomination yet look at Nigeria never redenominaed the Naira as problematic as our economy is it always bounce back ghana has redenominated what 3 times already and many of our people are falling for the smoke and mirror is of it

Ghana cedis is valuable on paper but not strong compared to naira in reality, Ghana removed four zeros (0000) from their currency in 2007 but the value still remains the same, e.g (10,000 cedis to 1 cedis) after removing the zeros but value of that 1cedis is equivalent to the old 10,000 cedis, what you can buy with 1,000 naira in Nigeria convert it to cedis and you cant buy that same thing with the converted money in Ghana, you have to pay double for it in Ghana. please do your research before you post

Ghana removed only two zeros "00" not four zeros "0000".. do ur research well my brother.. am a Ghanaian and I can assure u that on this date 11\11\2023.. Gh¢100 = 4600+ naira 🔥🔥🔥
