Comparing the prices between a local market, Port Louis and a supermarket

We go to three locations to check the prices of fresh produce and meats. A local market, the main Port Louis market, and a large supermarket. We were a little surprised by the prices.

Bibas is a fruit. My auntie in Mauritius had a Bibas tree in her front yard. They turn yellow and sort of sweet and sour when they are ripe. Do some Bibas tasting next time you go to the market. Happy outing!

meat price is a shoker for local meats same as in australia incredible but veg/fruits not bad

MOMO-BOLTON-KENTON SAYS THE FRUITS AND GREEN VEGETABLE ARE VERY CHEAP PRICE IN MAURITUIS ISLAND....any where in this world you will find green foods as in maurituis island..the foods of maurituis island is tasty....😀😃😄😁😆
