Sunil is a perfect fit for a younger Kung Lao, but Will Yun Lee definitely needs to step in for older Lao.

The voice actor from MKX is an actual martial artist and I truly knew he’s familiar in The Good Doctor! 👏👏👏👏👏👏 Will Yun Lee has the athleticism and skill as a skilled martial artist.

I like Sunil Malhotra's delivery a whole lot and I feel like he had a lot more opportunity to act then Will did, but I think Will is still a pretty close second.

With the exception of the MK Gold voice (it sounds too much like Liu Kang, which is already not a good fitting voice) all the voices don't sound bad. However, Will Yun Lee seems closest to Kung Lao's Asian roots, while also showing off a good deal of depth with his revenant form. Sunil Malhorta did pretty good in MK11 though, both as revenant Kung Lao and as a more arrogant normal Kung Lao who's tired of living in Liu Kang's shadow. Jim Hyong was great in MK9 when Kung Lao is just starting out. His only live action performance is okay.

From first to last: - Joshua Tsui is a bit too stiff in delivery. - Joe Yau, Jin Hyong, Will Hyun Lee , and Sunil Malhotra are all very good as Kung Lao. Although, i am very surprised that Kung Lao's voice changed throughout the reboot games. - Mark Dacascos is alright for a live action Kung Lao. Although i am a bit confused as to why Paolo Montalban isn’t included for Kung Lao portrayals. Maybe it’s because his Kung Lao is the GREAT Kung Lao, and not the descendant as is in the game. P.S. Sunil as Kung Lao was a bonus to recognize for me as I recognized him as Jun from Halo Reach.

Joe Yau’s voicing of Kung Lao gives me such a piece of mind for some reason.
