Comparing the Zoom H6 Classic and Zoom H6 Black digital recorder!

Күн бұрынThe Zoom H6 has been a classic since it's release in 2013! Included in the pack are the excellent Mid-Side stereo Microphone and other goodies. The 2020 version of the H6 as a Black edition with in a more stripped down manner.
Which do you prefer? Do let us know!

Okay the H6 2020 version is all the same, it's just less for the same money ... Okay... I just unpacked and wondered where the case, the seconds capsule and the rest was... I bought the H6 2013 some years ago. And no, the case feels different. Not bad, but more plasticky. Maybe it's more robust. The classic H6 got an accident and it literally exploded on the floor. I fixed it with glue, but there were many pieces because of the material.

Because rubberised plastic becomes a sticky mess.

Is the latest firmware version (2.50) for h6 black compatible with regular h6?

This all black version thus have pronounce inbuilt pre-amp system noise. Without plugging anything into the jack port there's this static white-noise in there. it quite annoying.

Personally I prefer the one w the box and the M/S capsule is solid!

Thanks so much for this video. I’m planning on buying one this week. But I have a question, please. If I buy the 2020 version and separately buy the M/S capsule, with it be compatible?

@@JustDavidMinistries Yes, the M/S capsule compatible with the 2020 version. Indeed, the 2020 version is just a cosmetic updates only!

color, rubberized housing on older model, and the older grey one comes with the kit.
