I think one of the greatest steps in maturation of one's journey in human potential, is realizing that you CANNOT and WILL NOT be able to do EVERYTHING that you would like to do in your remaining life. Once you can become at peace with this undeniable fact, then you can focus and pick something on that list that is exiting and focus on that. Claus really has this truth down pat. It is true power for blossoming on whatever guitar aspect really lights your fire. Oliver Burkeman in his book "4000 Weeks" addresses this intensively for those who might want to think more about this idea.

Find "your" voice on the guitar and stop trying to be someone you're not. I forget where I heard that, but it resonated with me. Blues is very easy to learn, but it is difficult to master! Guitar/music is a journey, not a destination 🤘
