Loved the R.Lipp. '65 Yamaha very nice too. Great to see all these lovely uprights. Thanks for demonstrating these gems.

As a tuner tech for 17 years, I grew to loathe the Steinway upright pressure bar in the treble register. Loved the Gunzenhausen Feurich pianos, though.

That's right Steve, thank you very much for your kind comments! We do sell across the country, all the way from Devon to Scotland. We Recently sold to Rome but prefer to keep our pianos in the UK. Best wishes Evan Roberts

I just got a stienway model 1098 1993 for 2000$ in great shape but it has hard hammers

Dear Kayvon, that is good to hear, a great purchase. A skilled piano tuner/technician can tone the hammers of your piano to sound softer/fuller by the process of toning them with a needle. Toning requires knowledge of which part to prick, without damaging the core material integrity of the hammer. You could ask your current tuner or ask a store for a tuner/technician where you live. Thanks for the reply. I don't know you, therefore I didn't feel I was insulting you be being a bit harsh. No doubt your pianos are beautiful and it would be wonderful if an excerpt was played... same piece... on well identified pianos before you start, or even announce, then back announce as they do on intelligent radio. You are lucky having all these instruments in stock. Graham.

Thanks for that feedback. There are some videos where I play more, but usually I want to keep the videos short and as the microphone doesn't really pick up the subtle differences I end up explaining them verbally. Will try to shift the balance towards more playing as I received one other comment similar to yours. Thanks for taking the time to write this. Marcus

He does play the pianos a little which gives us an indication of what they sound like...which I prefer.
