These were apple-to-orange comparisons. The 122 million for Elizabeth is the cost of running the monarchy, including ceremonial guards, etc. If you factor in the White House and the Secret Service, for example, the American president would cost a lot more.

Why would you think those people ruling a country care that nominal yearly salary? They will occupy a lot of tangible and intangible assets through power on their hand, which generate tons of money way beyond the figures shown in the video.

Надо установить шкалу зарплаты для президентов: например для РК десятикратная минимальная зарплата. Если минимальная зарплата в РК 60тысяч тенге в месяц, то президенту 600 тысяч тенге в месяц. И так всех чиновников привязать таким образом.

E os benefícios, no Brasil o salario de político tem a média de 27 mil mas com o benefícios chega a mais de 200 mil e com as arte manhã de alugar carro por 6 mil a diária, alugar computador com preço maior que o próprio produto, eles contratam ,15/30 funcionários e contratam pessoas para postar foto nas mídias por 30 mil por mês, ou 6 mil por uma tarde de foto (meia dúzia de fotos de celular) todo esse dinheiro volta uma parte, tem senador que comprou 500 litros de gasolina em um dia kkkkkk

This was poorly researched. For the presidents, it is accurate but when they turned into head of states the definition of "salary" changed into overall annual income. Most head of states have other sources of income separate from the government.

It looks to me as if some of these are simply the salary of the office paid from public funds, some look more like the entire personal income of the officeholder, including from private resources, and some might include the entire budget for the ceremonial role, official residence, etc. Also note that some are heads of government (like Johnson and Scholz), some are heads of state alone (Higgins, most of the monarchs), while many of the presidents, and maybe some of the monarchs with real power, are both. Some offices (like Macron and Putin) are heads of state with great power, but not strictly the chief executive. The Swiss presidency is simply a first among equals role that rotates among members of the cabinet, the holder changing annually, so most of the duties are the running of whichever ministry the current president holds.

I'm a Sri Lankan. You can see the president salary of the Gotabaya Rajapaksa is very low. But the reality is Rajapaksas are the wealthiest and most powerful persons in our country. They don't need a salary. They only need the title. They earn more than a king's salary using the president label. So they do anything to earn that label. It is the reality for most countries, the same in India.

I was thinking the same thing. In America the base salary or minimum wage is different for all 50 States. What is the minimum in some states and cities can either be overly abundant for one region and not even making enough in another. I know doctors that don't even make as much as the president does. It's hard, but in most places in the states you can raise a family on $60,000 a year. But prices are different along with sales tax in each state.

Зарплаты платят из казны, а назначают они их себе сами. Помните как у насподнимали зарплаты депутатам? 100 поднять на 25% . А народу подняли на 2-5 % , то есть получается, зачем нам больше поднимать все равно все назад вернут. Вообще не понимаю как может так быть что все выросло на 40% в цене а зарплаты на 5% Когда нибудь с такими несоответствием роста мы окажемся на дне. Или надо цены остановить и услуги ЖКХ .

Интересная информация, надеюсь доставленная Размеры впечатляют. Маленькая страны маленькие зарплаты По мне так лучше иметь зарплату поменьше, чем сидеть на пороховой бочке. Уходить из поста не хочется не только из за денег. Человек шел к цели, добился, заслужил доверие, получил роскошь И вдруг стал ни кем. Размах был большой возможностей много, а тут раз и ограничения. Это всегда сложно любому человеку. Суть одна, только масштабы разные .

Как правило президент это исполнительная власть, а не законодательная, они ничего не решают. Кто их зарплатадатель, кто им назначил и платит такие зарплаты, на кого они работают, кто их работодатель? Весь мир живёт на зарплаты, кто зарплатадатель этого мира? Его хозяин?

@Berrou David malheureusement il n'y a pas de gaz, peut être on en trouvera très profondément, bien sûr quand ça sera moi le Président de la Corse dans 12 ans (j'en ai 15😅) mais ne vous inquiétez pas je ne vais pas instaurer de dictature 😈. Car le mandat exécutif et législatif est de 6 ans et puis qu'avant d'être politicien(car ce n'est pas vraiment un métier) il faut avoir un métier avant, comme être avocat, juriste où autres, moi dans 6 ans je serais professeur d'histoire et de sciences politiques dans mon lycée(c'est à dire la où j'étudie).

This is absurd as it provides only "official" gov salaries. Actual income is far higher for all of these individuals as most are probably wealthy business or large land or property owners. Then there are kickbacks and other corrupt affairs.
