TRUE otherwise they will be out of business in the future. Nowadays nobody is concerned on resale value except value for money, practicality,, safety , robustness ,comfort, ease of spare parts and maintenance .
@The1KovacsAttila126 күн бұрын
Well, I would argue about that when it comes to Stellantis cars (Jeep, Peugeot, Fiat, Citroen, Dodge, etc.) Carlos Tavares found a way to cut down production costs. They made the infamous “Puretech” engine. Then there is the multi air engine from Fiat, that all Jeep renegade is running with and that tends to crap itself from time to time, leaving you with a cutting off engine. So I, somehow, cannot agree that every manufacturer evolved to make reliable cars by 2024. PSA was on a good way, but then Stellantis took over, and they ruined everything!

Had to make a choice between the Kodiaq and 5008. Went in the end with Peugeot 5008, its value for money and the middle row has three seats, that’s three children in their safety seats, and moving them a little forward there is lots of space in the back. With Koriaq I would have had to spend on the top model just to have had reverse camera, also I am paying for paint colour as white is the only standard free colour, in the end the kodiaq is only worth it if you get the top model. Will have to wait till December to pick my pearl gt premium and I’m so glad it had everything, it feels great to drive and being so light it does not need the gigantic engine, and I don’t need a 4x4 because I live a city life and is a family 7seater. Anyways thank you for the lovely video

@@naumidec hello, hope you are safe. I would it’s one of the best decisions for myself and family, the economy is amazing overall nothing has fallen off, the technology in this car is on par with so many luxury builds, I still wow my collegues(friends that are above me) with the massage seats and full digital displays, the safety is great as a father of 3, and of course it’s just beautiful to look at especially the one day of snow we had here. The only thing I would say is that I would invest in a step for gettting in and out and that awfully loud warning when you open the door while car is on...I mean people look. I should also mention the new facelift has come out which looks stunning but coming up to my 40s I feel happy I have the shuttle version. Anything out would like to know please ask. Thanks and stay safe

@@kousafyhan4117 thanks Yousaf khan for the detailed answer ,I have almost made my mind having 3 kids myself and need a bit of a boot space ,however I am torn between a diesel and a petrol version ,if you have diesel,Does the diesel gives any trouble if driven short distances for sometime, I mean diesel filter issues or if you have petrol version,does it feel underpowered on motorway journeys ,I do mix driving ,sometimes max 10km return journeys for weeks and suddenly 400km visiting family once in a while.i have seen new facelift version,its even better looking ,I might go for Allure or (GT line if it offers value for money ). Thanks again

@@naumidec I personally do both long and short journeys, the long is to visit my family so taking the kids to see their grandparents around 45miles away, I have a gt line premium 1.5diesel. So regarding long journey I would say it’s extremely solid, it’s great fun with the sport, in fact it’s almost strange how it adjust so amazing to the sport function, the power is lovely and the tweaks to the suspension and brakes is perfect, overall very quite and just feels solid. Regarding short journey I am used to that 5-6days a weak as I work not terribly far and my children’s school is practically round the corner, I would says it’s still amazing consumption and I couldn’t recommend a better car for slow short journey drives, the safety features are on point, the parking aids are perfection for such a long vehicle, the feel is great for both bumpy and my favourite gravel type roads. I have an automatic so I suppose the feel would be better with manual but I went for the auto as I am almost always doing short journeys and wanted the relaxed experience. At this point I feel I may sound biased but I genuinely looked for so long and it was so close with the Skoda but to this day I wouldn’t look back let alone even think I would go with the Skoda, I think once you are so close and can see the features in comparison then you will see the 5008 was just so superior. The performance is impeccable for such a small engine to produce a motorway blitzing power especially overtaking. I must say I heard the new models don’t have gt line premium and yes I may have chose petrol as it’s great efficiency so that may be what you should look at, the engine is not that loud and can never be heard on the inside but outside yes the petrol should be lovely, it just because I know I do large motorway drives and in 3-4years when a sale may happen I want to know I can have resale power and that would be better with diesel as well as Efficiency. Regarding filter issues I can’t say I have any currently. The overall build is so light and wide for the engine it handles movement very well and can be pulled very easy. I was very surprised and a lot of the videos would also say this but this is not the same with the vw Tiguan or Skoda. Hope that helps in some way.

I’m a fan of the Skoda Kodiaq. The AWD does appeal for frequent snow trips. However, the 508 interior and looks are so cool I’d been willing to fit chains just to have it. I expect the servicing costs on the X- Trail and CRV would be cheaper so that would also be a consideration for buyers on a budget.

The Peugeot 5008 is only a FWD and has as a towing limit of only 600kg! This review compares it favorably to a Kodiaq with AWD and 2000kg towing capacity and somehow gives the win to the Peugeot. I dont even know where to begin. I had to laugh when he commented negatively about the bulge in the floor on the second row of the Kodiaq. Yeah, it's a bloody AWD mate! There is a tailshaft under there, doing great things.
